Hey, Tara! If you want something less strange, try Sol Bianca: the Legacy. There's a character with more realistic proportions, and cool abs.

Here's a quote from an interview:

The Wonder Woman Problem Only Joss Whedon Could Solve: “Finding out who she was, and that’s all I’m going to say.”

Joss Whedon Has Not Already Done Wonder Woman: “No because usually, people I write are very, very down to earth and she’s the opposite. She’s somebody who is supposed to be Wonder Woman and spend her life being Wonder Woman but then she’s still as vulnerable and as new at it as anybody else, but she’s the opposite of every character I’ve ever written.”

Wonder Woman Will Still Have Whedonesque Dialogue:
“Absolutely. Wonder Woman’s perspective is very serious. But that’s what’s so funny about her. She doesn’t understand the word. She’s a fish, and this is a phrase that I’ve just come up with, who is outside of the water because she’s so pure and so focused that she comes to a world that is so compromised that she understands nothing about, of course there’s going to be humor. And she’s also an intelligent woman, but she’s not a wisecracker. But at the same time, she’s not going to miss an opportunity.”

Joss Whedon on Discovering Another New Starlet for Wonder Woman: “That would be the hope because it would be great to find somebody new. It’s a very tough role and it’s a very specific role, so I can’t think of anybody off hand who’s right for it, so I’d like to meet her.”

I Suggest Morena Baccarin for Wonder Woman: “You’re not the first and believe me, there’s a list. But the list is only in my head because ultimately I have to write the character and then I have to figure out who the person is.”

Joss Whedon on a Lynda Carter Cameo in Wonder Woman: “If it’s right for the movie. I think Lynda Carter’s great. I mean, I ragged on the show but that’s not her. It’s just a question of I’m not going to do something that isn’t integral to the film. If I found something that was right, absolutely, but not if it takes you out of the narrative.”

Chances are we're getting a mix of the Whedonesque heroine and 'Coming to America'.

I'd like to see Morena Baccarin (Inara from Firefly) as Princess Diana.

I finally watched "Serenity". Haven't seen Firefly. Nice actress, but she looks so cute. Can't imagine her being the Amazon who is lead like a general.

My superheroine idea is just to create a setting for everybody to contribute their own story.

My tournament idea sprung mostly from that Gladiatrix website. I thought it would be cool to imagine actual competitors as superheroines. But Alan Moore's "Top Ten" was another inspiration of how hundreds can become costumed fighters. Yeah, I think there are many social implications for it, but I wanted to point out they didn't all pop up out for feminist goals. There are different reasons, from different sides of the tracks. However the general population just assumes they're a feminist movement which incurs lots of misunderstandings, even from male superheroes. That's why I also wrote that some superheroes became villains, because the women became better organized and better loved.

So this tournament, it happens in the present. Women compete for the power of Earth's greatest superheroine. I haven't worked out how they're chosen to qualify, only that they musn't have any super powers of their own. They all must fight it hand to hand. Each competitor has her own story and not all of them have noble intentions. If the wrong woman wins the tournament then the world is in big trouble.

    Dear NerochildK,

I agree with these guys. Seek the form you wish to have. The Internet has shown there are many women who are into bodybuilding and they feel very feminine. So got for it. But don't take shortcuts.

    Good luck.

I guess noone thought Jelena Abbou was a good choice? Hello!!?? The farenheit model?! Oh i give up.

I'm sorry. I wasn't sure what you conveying with that link. Was it the look or the model herself because I didn't see her name.

I think she's got the right build, but I agree with Dragonsblade77. Hollywood would pander to the general audience, and have the actress be slimmer. (Yuck.)

They should have addressed her as Dr. Dena Westerfield. Titles are important. 😀

Yeah, a friend of mine told me she was seen at one of the gyms three – four years ago.
