ParticipantI’ve recently started to watch Legend of Korra. She’s now one of my favourite heroines of 2014.

ParticipantBy celebrity, I consider women like Katie Couric and Jamie Eason to be among them. So Britney Spears ranks very low in my regard.

ParticipantI’m amazed at the lack of hype over much of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Gamora’s character could deliver the ‘Be All and End All’ of comicbook femme fatales. More kick ass than Wonder Woman, Hit Girl, and Xena combined, she’s the ‘Deadliest Woman in the Universe”.

ParticipantSometimes I wish they’d just go completely cartoony in these productions.
For the upcoming Superman sequel I thought somebody could do a parody about the rivalry between DC and Marvel. One was a re-enactment of the Barricade scene in Les Miserables. Using the silhouette approach we’d see Superman hovering over the Marvel heroes:
Superman: You at the barricade listen to THIS! No one is coming to help you fight! You’re on your own! You have no friends! Give up you guns or die!
Captain America then rallies the Marvel Heroes: Damn their warnings damn their lies! They will see the people RISE!

ParticipantJust bought this, been seeing the DC Animated movies for years now. Justice League War kinda sucks. Everyone except for Batman and maybe the Flash comes of as arrogant, idiotic and a punk. I have never seen Superman act like such a douche. Billy has no integrity and when he is Shazam he is even more of a punk. Wonder Woman is very one dimensional, but at least she has nice shoulders. Green Lantern comes of like a bitch, and Cyborg a bitch with metal parts. Not a fan of this, and if this is the new 52, as mentioned by someone earlier, I am not missing anything either.
As for the animation, it is weak. Weak writing, it sounds like a kid wrote script, and the voice casts sucks. There is a reason why Kevin Conroy usually does Batman, unfortunately he does not do the voice in Justice League War.
DC’s previous animated flicks are lots better. The last movie I saw, Flashpoint was awesome, Justice League: War is very disappointing and I should have read more reviews. This kinda sucks, I hope the features are better. Disappointment.
Sounds like these heroes aren’t acting their age, except for Shzm.

ParticipantNot a commish, but a section for a 3D Display Stand (1995). B)
I wonder if they should bring back the metallic coverage of the abs area in the 52 costume. I don’t like those red lines and the thick metal W around her breasts. Maybe it’s better to have the metal expand and cover her mid-section but look as thin as tinfoil.

ParticipantTo be entirely honest, since Man of Steel itself was such a bleak, solemn, and sorry excuse for a Superman picture, I don’t see Warner/DC really being able to make an entertaining Wonder Woman.
The buzz apparently is that the title is Batman versus Superman, which doesn’t suggest they will be lightening the mood lately. The DC superhero universe is currently a bleak and ugly train wreck, and Wonder Woman’s world in it has been destroyed and she’s been left as a hanger-on of the Olympian gods.
If Wonder Woman’s movie debut is anything like MoS, I am not interested. DC has pretty much kicked Wonder Woman to the curb in the comic books, and I’ve generally lost interest in their product as a result.
I must confess I purposely skipped Man of Steel at the theatres. From the first trailer I knew it wasn’t what I loved about Superman. Bad enough it was another retelling of his origin, but they had to have Zack Snyderr and David Goyer handling it?
Day of the Doctor, now that was a wonderful anniversary event for a classic hero. No mid-life crisis for the Doctor, but the Man of Steel is clearly on Viagra

ParticipantWarner Bros. has announced that the release date for the next Superman film will be postponed until 2016. Now some WW fans say this just allows Gal Gadot more time to work out for the role.
That could not have been any more presumptuous. We don’t know exactly what the extent of her role will be and what her shooting schedule will become now. But to spend another year pumping up for a role that willl take less than eight weeks to shoot doesn’t make sense unless she’s paid well. She’ll have to risk foregoing any other possible roles until post-production starts.
No. I don’t think we can expect a significant increase in muscle mass from her for this role.
