Participant
Agree with Holiday and stevexyz. It would have to be an independent and self funded film. And if so, you’d have to hit a home run, something on the order of Blair Witch Project.
Not to rain on the parade, but I serious doubt there’s be a response on the magnitude of the Blair Witch Project. The lost video concept was a novelty at the time, but now has become a worn-out sci-fi cliché. A FBBr / femuscular character(s) story would be aimed at a niche, but not insignificant, audience that would make it a profitable venture. A better analogy would be on the lines of “Interstate 60: Tales of the Road” (2002), or “Atlas Shrugged – Part 1” (2011), both of which were made outside of the hegemony of Hollywood, had good production quality and w/ a number of familiar faces in various roles.
I never understood the appeal of the Blair Witch Project. When I first watched the film it was a mess with no scares. I was more frustrated at how moronic those people were at getting lost.
Another approach to presenting women bodybuilders is to not always make them 2D caricatures. Muscular people have usually been depicted as simple-minded, just as other types of people are put into cliches. Having stories that capitalize on their physique is just one approach when they could express other facets like anybody else.

ParticipantThe show’s stuntwoman, Jessie Graff, competed in American Ninja! Now she looks the part! :cheer:

ParticipantHYeah, Gal Gadot was a disappointment especially when you think she should embody THE amazon in todays culture..
Special effects really sold her Amazon appeal. I know some fans say she was the only thing worthwhile in that movie but that’s not saying much character wise.

ParticipantI think independent productions will have to continue leading the way.

ParticipantIf anyone is curious, there are women in the Air Force who have competed in fitness and bodybuilding. If you want an ideal standard to compare with then look up women like Jasmine Spruill and Pam Wilson.

ParticipantThere’s a NSFW illustration of a naked Stephanie with a really toned body. It was made by somebody named Hornodoggo.
No, I won’t post that here. Get your own viral links!

ParticipantI wish to declare my pissing heckle was not an inside joke nor prophetic. If you need to take a real bathroom break during its play, I recommend so. You don’t even have to return afterwards.

ParticipantIt looks like a follow-up to Kate Upton’s appearance in that video game commercial.

ParticipantThe latest clips are supporting the impression the rivalry is like a pissing contest. Therefore, I challenge the audience to make pissing sounds whenever Batman or Superman argue or exchange blows!

ParticipantThis article was written four years ago! I haven’t read DC Comics in a long time, but I could see their Nu52 run was just another headache.
1. We get another story where Diana has to fight the Greek Gods, instead of facing modern threats that today’s women face.
2. We see the realization of the elitist, dynastic belief that Superman should have Wonder Woman, although the two characters were created separately. (Prince Charles, Princess Diana…don’t forget Camille. Camille is real, fairytale lovers.)
3. They deconstruct the Amazons again. Springfield underwent more narrative flexibility than this, and the Simpsons are more cartoony!I’d like to see independent tales of Paradise Island. Maybe they’ll reveal it’s not so isolated by having connections with other pocket dimensions.
