Elle Ragu is one of my favorite fighting females. She did a Superman level feat near the end of the TV series. Although she isn't the strongest of the Sevalles, she is truly a formidable opponent.

Hmmmm. No. ๐Ÿ™ The artist does great detail. But the overall shape doesn't fly by me. It looks like everything below her neck exploded instead of the entire body.

Jean is truly a great artist. I wonder if he has versions where the men look shocked or dumbfounded at the women's strength.

Another you might want to check out, Holiday, would be his previous book Bodies: Boris Vallejo, His Photographic Work.

And if you can find it, since its now out of print by WPW, would be The Female Physique Athlete by Al Thomas and Steve Wennerstrom.  Its a History of FBBing up through 1983 – includes a great deal of materal on the subject.

Thanks, Alex. I'll check it out. I also like the different women by Chris Achilleos. They aren't athletic, but he does explore different costumes.

I didn't buy this book so I can see Frazetta's aggressive, dynamic work. I wanted a book with strong women in it.

Well, most natives (East Anglians with an awareness of the region's heritage, mostly) usually prefer Bodicea (pronounced Bo-di-SEEA).

    It's still t?-m?-(,)? / t?-mรข-(,)?.  :-*
