A character type that can work even better than a bofriend/girlfriend is to use a "Ducky".  I refer to Jon Cryer's character in "Pretty in Pink".

Although not a perfect fit: Cryer's character is well-known enough to illustrate the point. — I like the idea of a loyal character secretly pining after the Heroine enough to help her to make her dream come true even if it means that his dream will not.  The Geek/Nerd who helps his friend get the school heartthrob even though he would love to have her notice him instead.
Of course in my version the girl would eventually come to her senses and choose the Ducky in the end.

I'm not a medical person but I have had my share of broken ribs.  Like anything, it seems to be a matter of degree and location.

I was never hospitalized or operated upon for any of them.  The time when they (three ribs) were broken under my arm, near my shoulder, they just gave me a sling and told me to put ice on it.  The pain stopped after about three weeks and I was good to go at about seven weeks.  The time when they were broken over my kidney (again three ribs) they told me to avoid any trauma to the area for two months.
I know of someone who had multiple ribs that were each broken in more than one place.  That resulted in what he called a "flail chest" and he had to be on a respirator for almost a week because of the damage/bruising to the lungs beneath the broken ribs.  He never had surgery but he was out of commission for about three months.

I really can not narrow my preferences to a list of names: there would be too many.
I suppose that I celebrate the diversity of the various talented artists that contribute here and elsewhere rather than the style of a given artist.
My thanks to all of them for giving freely of their talents!

Fanfiction stories are easy to write because you're using established characters, in an established universe…

I've no doubt there are many people who would be interested in seeing that type of fanfic though.

    Very true!

BTW — There are lots of HP fanfics — http://www.fanfiction.net/c2l/224/0/1/ — and I have seen a couple of HP fanfics regarding BE and FMG.  One had Hermione and Ginny magically "helping" each other in order to better attract Ron and Harry, respectively.  If I recall that particular fanfic correctly, the two girls ended up becoming more attracted to each another than they were to the guys.

Like most of you, I prefer a bit of variety.  And, I have found that almost no idea, storyline, or scenario in and of itself can trump a well written story.

My common thread, however, is that I prefer female empowerment with a certain innocence.

Perhaps I am naive or a stick-in-the-mud or have seen too many reruns of "Leave It To Beaver" but my sketch and morph characters are never naked.  My characters may occasionally intimidate but they never pummel or resort to real violence against others, etc.  They also do not use profanity.
Wading through a cesspool of profanity is not my idea of fun.  Neither are situations which kill or physically or sexually abuse characters.  A certain amount of payback can be fun, however.

All things being equal, I suppose that it is the attraction of innocence that leads me to prefer female growth that is unexpected but not unwanted.  The visual and literary devices of having clothes gradually tighten and rip add to the illustration of scale as well as to the idea that the growth is unexpected.  And, for the more "innocent" characters it can also introduce or reinforce their sense of modesty.

However, I do believe that the attraction of female growth does have a limit.  For example, the height, BE, and FMG should not progress to the point where they prohibit functionality or impose hardship.

Lastly — Humor and irony can be definite pluses.

Having said all of that, I try to never discourage those who wish to contribute to the community.  I may not have a full appreciation for much of the content of what is contributed but I do appreciate the fact that it was contributed.

BTW — I wonder if the shooter will throw the gun at her when he/she runs out of bullets like in the old Superman TV show.  What were the bad guys thinking, "A bunch of bullets couldn't hurt him but perhaps if we throw the gun at him we'll give him such a bruise that he'll leave us alone!"

    Welcome SinD!
Since joining the on-line community I have noticed that there are certainly some individuals who abuse the fact that there is some inherent anonymity in forums.  This anonymity can allow those with more ugly or primative attitudes to be more aggressive or hostile than they could or would be in a more accountable situation.
In my experience the notion of muscular women does not seem to bring out the microcephalic mouth-breathers any more than any other topic of interest.
However, it is human nature to notice such behavior more when something we enjoy is the target.
The best thing to do is to accentuate what you enjoy and ignore that and those which you do not.  Do not try to argue with or persuade those who are in a conversation for all of the wrong reasons.  You are not in a forum for their benefit or entertainment — you should be there only for your own.
