Thank you for the update, Larry!

When will the next (i.e., #19) edition of "All Growth" be available and what will it feature?

    Tschuss!

I am not a fan of real life chemical supplementation/augmentation for bodybuilders and athletes, however, it does make for some entertaining female growth fantasies.

FYI — A quick stop at "Ask Jeeves" yielded the following:

The use of androgenic anabolic hormones like testosterone to enhance performance and stamina began in Nazi Germany prior to WWII. Later, back when the Berlin Wall was still a solid force of division, the East Germans started working to create various derivatives of androgens in an attempt to modify their potency and minimize their side-effects (e.g., acne, hair loss, hypogonadism, impotence, water/salt retention, retardation of bone growth, etc.). However, if you have ever seen some of the East German "female" athletes, you can see that they didn’t quite eliminate all of the side-effects. The same applies to some present day female bodybuilders (as mentioned above) even though the drugs have continued to "improve" over time.

Ironically excess doses of anabolic steroids (even modern derivatives) can cause feminization, including gynecomastia, in men because the body will eventually convert excess "male" steroids into the female steroid, estrogen.

So, I’ll continue to fantasize about growth formulas that only enhance but do not degrade a female’s femininity. However, I would disuade any real life females from trying to shoot-up or pill-pop their way to bigger bodies.

    Valid points, all.

Although it would be nice to see everyone contribute, I know that that is usually not the nature of people, groups, boards, etc.

If given a choice, IMHO, I’d rather that a given lurker remain as quiet as they wish until they are ready to participate/contribute.

My experience with some other boards is that prompting, prodding, or awarding points to someone for contributing quantity without regard to quality will more often than not result in something worse than the lack of participation does. Ironically, it then usually follows that if such induced contributions are eventually policed for quality, the Holier-Than-Thou’s of the given cyber micro-world ignite an off-topic crusade of self-perpetuating, self-congratulatory piling-on against the perceived "offender(s)" and we are then immersed even deeper into tangential, off-topic bilge.

Just my cynical 2 pfennigs worth.

    Drake:

Making each issue of "Pure Growth" available as a downloadable file would almost eliminate overhead costs. A customer could mail you a check or use PayPal or similar to remit payment to you. You could then e-mail the customer the file(s).

I understand that some artists feel that using such a medium to deliver their work might increase the risk of piracy. However, since so many folks now have ready access to scanners and graphics programs, the risk is probably not much greater than using a paper and snail mail delivery system. Some graphics programs would also allow you to imbue your work with a watermark or similar.

Whatever you choose to do, I wish you the best!
