A true Hollywood legend.  Normally, I'm not one to pay tribute to celebrities.  But Stan's artistry greatly influenced my love for film.  Stan hooked me starting with The Thing, which I remember watching on HBO after the folks were in bed way back in '83.

Stan Winston – Dead at 63.  RIP

Stan Winston did one small tiny effect for John Carpenters The Thing. It was all Rob Botin. Who like Stan was a genius. Rob got to share a academy award for his work with total recall. He also designed Robocop and made the suit. Now Stan Winston has done some great work, but The Thing was not one of them. He stepped in when Botin was having a nerves breakdown, and helped with one tiny shot.
But it is a shame to lose such a master, because unlike Rick Baker Stan never sold out.

Fantastic looking Eva Mendes, but ah, David who?  😉

David Lettermen. If your not familir with his late night show, he produced the show "Everybody loves Raymond", and Danica Patric races for his team.

I tried gimp and hated it. I have CS on my macs, but I hate working on my macs for this. Because there, its arduous to browse and then open all of the source files, that I need. So I use my antiquated pc. Which I enjoy very much. I might check gimp out again, cos I could use it if nothing else to put the finishing touches on a image.

Good job.  The one on the left could probably bear to have more unified skin surface (parts look oily and shiny, while the head and breasts are fairly "natural"),

If only matching skin was that easy.LOL, I am happy if I get the colors to match, I can't do textures yet. Besides I use a really old program. Photodeluxe 2.

You actually posted it at my yahoo group. Not bad for a first attempt. Look forward to seeing your future attempts.

This picture might look simple, but its actually more complex than what you might think. The first draft of the image that I made actually had the Jessica Alba model from my last morph, as the center model. And as of now a still unused jennifer garner model. The models just did not work together in the same picture. So I had to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new picture. I am happy with how this turned out, I really like the depth of the image, and how organic it looks. I really have never made a picture like this and I am glad at how it looks.

I hate the show, but I love the pic. Any chance that you could do an Eva Mendes morph?

Theres a couple of reasons why I picked the red carpet setting.
One, its where you will find most of the movie stars, and two it started with my hatred for Ben Affleck and his humiliation on the red carpet. I think it adds another dimension to the picture. I could always have them set in a bedroom or kitchen I guess, but it would be harder to squeeze three ladies into the picture.
