Heh!  As a Brit and someone who loved the series as a kid, I'm quite frankly surprised at the amount of non-Brits who are into it (especially Americans).  I thought only Brits and a few Canadians/Aussies might be into Dr Who, but it seems that lots of people in the US like it too, which is news to me.  Admittedly the budget has been brought up to a level where the program can compete with US Sci-fi, but it seems funny to me that the characters have such international appeal.

Out of all the doctors it's obvious that Tom Baker would win a popularity contest hands down.  He was so eccentric and had such a wonderful accent.  He's very much in demand for voiceovers today in the UK.

As for Leela of the Sevateem… wow!

It may not seem like much now, but a woman doing (admittedly extremely bad) karate in animal skins in the 70s was incredibly incredibly sexy.  I say that even as a child of the 80s.

Lovely pics!  I really like the effects on the fabric – especially the way it drapes and stretches.  One request, though – could we have higher quality versions of the pics please?  There's some pixel rot on them and they're a bit grainy, but it'd be great to see them the same dimensions, but less compressed file sizes.  Anyway, great work, man – thanks for sharing them with us!
