ParticipantIt's actually a sheaf of wheat – I think the sign for Virgo is the reaper or something – although I am a Virgoan I pay little attention to it as I consider it to be mumbo-jumbo anyway.
Yeah, the sign for Virgo is a gal with a sheaf of wheat- this is my 'never been to Kansas' rendition of what wheat looks like 😛
Anyhow, after looking at her for a day I noticed a few screwups in the coloring so here is a slightly revised version.
The rest of the Zodiac is being handled by by other artists- it should be up at http://femalemuscle.deviantart.com/ within the month. It's a fun subject, but I don't think I have time for it just now, sorry!

Participantcan you post me where i can found tese techinques istructions? 8)
One of the techniques has vanished, unfortunately- it was by Jahi-chan and was located over here:http://www.luffkin.com/g/?tech=I but the link has gone dead. I think he is going through a phase, and has deleted a bunch of art from various websites. That was the technique I used for Virgo, more or less.
The one for the crouching woman was from Betteo on deviantArt, and is located over here:http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/56554496/And thank you- glad you like 'em!

ParticipantI'll second liking the second picture- she has a wonderfully intent expression, her muscles are crisply defined, and the little toe at the bottom that's sticking up works like a punctuation after all her long torso and legs.

ParticipantGreat picture!
(But take care of your hands, man! We don't want you getting carpal tunnel off that mouse!)Jedediah
ParticipantShe looks like a goddess or a muscle saint! This is a really fun piece, I like the simplicity of your lines, and the almost-symmetry. My eye keeps bouncing back and forth, then gets channeled right up to her ecstatic face.
Thanks for this! 😀Jedediah
ParticipantWell I could try it, but the seperated drawings might be out of my league, but I've been adviced of A3 paper, but I never really know what kind to pick. On Friday, I'll pit up some A3. The problem is I have a A4 size scanner, so I have to learn how to use that as well in a different way that I have never done before.
The seperate paper idea, it's not something I've heard before. Is that something you have tried?
I use that technique when drawing comics. I draw out roughly where the figures are going to go on good paper- just stick figures really. Then I put it on a light box, put some sketch paper on top, and draw the various characters- making adjustments to poses, figuring out stuff- basically doing all the messy erasing and redrawing parts on a different sheet of paper. When I'm satisfied with the drawings, I put the good paper back on top, adjust the placement of the rough drawing and trace it onto the good paper. It's a bit complicated, but it lets me work more flexibly.

ParticipantI like those last 2- I like the hair and pose variety a great deal. I also like that the smaller arms don't bump up against and distort the sides of her torso like the big arms on the first 4 do. Also, the triceps on the back of the big arms look more like a roll of flab than a muscle.
The legs and waists on all of them look superb though- I really like what you're doing with this model.Jedediah
ParticipantLike I said on dA- nice arms on this gal! (But I fear for the Dr's continued well being- she looks dangerous.)
As for the face thing- her nose and mouth are drawn well, her eyes are drawn well, it's just that her eyes aren't in line with her nose. If the bridge of her nose was in line above the tip of her nose that might fix some of the problem.
If you are doing image fixes and clean up on the computer a useful technique might be to try flipping the image horizontally. This will make any asymmetries pop right out to your eye.Jedediah
ParticipantLovely pencils on this- I am impressed the way you convey mass with such light lines.
Also, she does look sexy with the subcutaneous fat- I'm enjoying these pictures of yours of a wider variety of body tpes and builds.Jedediah
ParticipantIt looks like he is doing rough drawing in non-photo blue pencil, then drawing final lines in graphite. He says he's doing his inking on the computer, using either Flash or Photoshop.
Looking at his pages, I would guess he is assembling them from separate drawings on the computer, rather than composing them on paper like you are doing. -
