    😮

Your folks got you your Christmas stuff, not Santa…

… the brand-name uptown department store shirts are really just generic/Made-In-China duds with a stamp-size label tacked on…

    … Max Headroom was a live actor…

… the Wizard of Oz was a guy behind a curtain with SFX machinery…

… there's more to art than big buxom muscle babes.

The shocking revelations you learn every day.  ::)

Hey, if it's from the hecklers in the crowds, I'd say ride 'em out.  If it's an honest desire to expand your horizons/try new stuff… I say go for it.  Whichever leaves you with a clean conscience and undisturbed sleep.

After the break… you CAN live a happy, fulfilling life without a spouse or sweetheart.  Stay tuned.  😉

I picked this one out of the stock avatars available when I first discovered them.  The pen means, well, I'm a writer.

The written cross was just there, but serendipitously shows my faith.

And the reason I've stuck with it since I've been here?  Because it fits.  It's something you can depend on.  It's just me.

…That, and I couldn't get any artists to draw any of my characters, and I can't do it myself.

I sang me praises before in deviantArt, Davey, but… that be one of the foinest sights I ever set me deadlights on!  And if I'd not forsworn the partaking of grog, I'd gladly join her and hoist one up to her already bounteous health.  Dashed good art as always!  (-¶

Found something… the pic came as a PCC desktop, available Here.

This was done in following to one of the pictures he'd done before called Cats and Dogs.

Well… right now, I'm teaching full time now, and on top of that, a lot of other writing projects have caught my attention… I WILL finish Ares' Turf War eventually, but you may need to wait quite a bit.

Oh, and thanks for dropping by, manic41!

Uh… mateys, I think I'd best give ye fair warning…

I'd been shorting meself on a lot of sleep lately, and on top of that, this past weekend, I had to show a teacher a spaghetti dinner I'd been promising her.  (When I'd been showing her photos from New Zealand, and she spied refaal's first Adventureer picture, she laughed and took it fairly well. ^^;;)  In any event… the lack of shut-eye finally caught up and keel-hauled me.  Headaches.  Achy shoulders and neck.  Lack of even more sleep because of that.  Had to blow off me fleet admiral's invitation to dinner at her new home because I wouldn't have been good company.

Needless and sad to say… no writin's happened so far.

And I gotta teach again this week.

I'll do my blasted-est to slap something up in time, but bear in mind… it may be late.

I'll not be hiding behind any "slow boat from China" jokes or excuses….  :-[

The NSFW warning was appropriate and appreciated.

Sharp.  Vicious.  Funny.  The guy cuts into the heart of the matter like a Crip with a switchblade.

And I can't recall the last time I'd heard a video game review that referred to Atlas Shrugged.

Hi there… welcome to the forum! 🙂  And I'm glad you enjoyed "Alysia and the Trial of Strength."

Actually, one of the first stories released here was Morpheus' Amulet of Strength.  I think it'll have what you're looking for if you stick with it.  You can read it here in Brawna, or in parts one and two in this forum.  Hope you enjoy… I did!  ;D
