Heh heh!  Accordians in rock tunes rule.  Punk Rock Girl is definitely worthily following in the footsteps of Al and the Two Johns.

Love the AniMonday clips, too.  I'm glad someone at SciFi remembered how cool Saturday Anime was.

    *asleep at computer, wakes up*

Awww… dangit!  You try to recoup your sleep from teaching and other duties, and look what you miss!  :-[

Sorry about the late wishes, Yatz.  Hope your birthday was a happy.

You don't really need it.  If you want to play THGttG again, just have Java, and go here:

    http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html

Do you have the "feelies" that go with the original floppy-disk game?  Y'know, the brochure, the peril-sensitive shades, the "DON'T PANIC!" button, and the destruction notices?

My next-door neighbor had this game… I swiped his no tea.

(I'll get this thread back on topic with female video game fighters next time… promise!)

Oh, and to help clear up what was meant by "old school text adventures," here's a little article about it:  http://www.reference.com/search?q=interactive%20fiction

How many of my fellow geezers remember when this was hot to trot on the computing scene?  No sound, no pictures, just plot, story, and adventure!

Ah!  Colored already?  That was speedy.

Not too harsh on the eyes, either.  Glad to see you're foraying into different media. 🙂

They are original- I made them up all by my lonesome. ;D

    I just can't draw. :-[

stmercy2020 just scored a bullseye there.  Except for Black Lotus from EA Games' Command & Conquer Generals (and she's copyrighted, so she's out), none of my muscle ladies have any representation by picture.

    Well… I wrote about Kitty-kins in my story The Stray.  She's based on Dr. Otto's Bad Kitty from his picture Cats and Dogs… but that's HIS picture.  Not mine. -_-;;;

Now who here has NEVER thought or daydreamed of something like this at least ONCE?

It was bound to happen.  Thanks for crackin' it open, Leo!

    I'd offer my characters… but… I guess my characters are for… old-school style "text based" adventures.  :-[

I'd offer some… but CowProbe thought up all the good ones.

I'll look forward to the next chapter, whatever you call it.

fm07 hit the nail on the head on being helpful, showing how to lift, and the right way to do it (and surreptitiously show off the bod flexing while doing it).  And to be an inspiration to others working out.

And don't forget… the gym is also a very nice place to meet folks (and maybe troll for dates ;)).  Much healthier environment and people there than, say, a bar, a rave, or the local floating craps game.

Hmmm… I felt a little apprehension when the NYU Violets hit the scene… I sense our first person vs. person conflict's coming into the story pretty soon.

Oh, and I noticed Sylph's job poll's a "secret ballot" sort of thing.  I didn't know you could do that.
