    Total random thought:  Alvin & the Chipmunks goin' gangsta style kinda makes me think of CJ from GTA San Andreas talking after getting kicked in the crotch.  😛

    Hadn't heard that one in a while on my brother's stereo.  Since… 199something.

    Thanks for sharing that… I think it'd fit somewhere in the soundtrack if For Their Own Good ever gets made into a movie (looks away dreamingly)

    Hmm… here's an idea for part time work:  an order picker in a warehouse/distribution center.  She simply puts a number of items in big cartons, which go down the line to be stacked on pallets, shrinkwrapped, and shipped off by forklift to the trucks.

    But soon, the manager discovers her gift of strength, and decides to have her stack the boxes on the pallets… and then when a forklift breaks down, she simply lifts up the pallets herself and carries them and loads them in the truck trailers by hand.

    Of course, this is going to turn a lot of heads here.  And there maybe a forklift driver who might be a little ticked off at being replaced…. Room for conflict here! 😀

    I'm royally kicking myself for not checking out this story earlier. 

    After checking out and coming back to the source, I have to say once again, this is exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for:  a "signs her notes with Xs and Os" girl with the power of Hercules… and the sweetness and backlash that comes in her daily life.

    And her clever improvisations with the "oops" moments really warmed the cockles of my heart. ^_^

    This experiment was a success, I'd say.
