Big Country: One Great Thing (1986). A great song with a great message. There’s female bodybuilders in here but it’s quick, 1:05 and 2:04.
jsimonParticipantI saw it. Like many of these animated ones, the artwork is okay but as for the story, this one is riddled with huge plot holes. I keep urging CinemaSins to do an episode about it.
jsimonParticipantYes, that’s the one I was looking for. Where’s the link for this? Do you have it?
jsimonParticipantI LOVED Debbie! Her upper body was great and especially those biceps! Any other time, she would have had a shot at Ms Olympia. But it was a golden age when she had to compete against so many other incredible women like Laura Creavalle, Kim Chizevsky, Sandy Riddell, and many other amazing athletes. She still ranks amongst the greats in my book.
jsimonParticipantPumping Iron 2: The Women is on YouTube, for now:
jsimonParticipantI’ve looked all over the internet. There’s no theatrical release for Pearl that I can find other than the screening at the Venice Film Fest and there’s no DVD or streaming version. Anyone have better info if / when / how to see this?
jsimonParticipantAlso here’s some photos for a February 2019 magazine. I’m sorry, but if you’re pushing Jeeps and lifting with chains, you don’t dwindle down all that size and look like this that fast even if they shot the movie last year so I’m calling some serious BS.
jsimonParticipantIt’s not that it doesn’t make sense, it’s more like so what? Jeeps are relatively light vehicles. Also, how does the reporter know there’s a full tank of gas? Most lightweight cars when in neutral aren’t that hard to push especially if the car is on a slightly downward grade pavement. I’m not totally dissing her. Yes, it does take some effort, but football players with sleds do this all the time. In addition, it’s been well established that many strength videos are faked. Fitness models use fake weights or weights with fake numbers all the time. And furthermore, why are these videos coming out now? I mean the film is coming out really soon so this had to been shot last year. If she’s training for an upcoming film, okay. But with all this training, you’d think she’d be almost in cross-training games shape. I don’t see it.
jsimonParticipant(I’d love to ride in Alina Popa’s new little red corvette!)
RESULTS: Rising Phoenix Women’s Bodybuilding World Championships.
The 2018 Arizona Pro took place at the Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino in Chandler, Arizona on 8 September, 2018.
As you will see in the results, the cash prices are incredible. A majority of the competitions during the season do not even come close to this when it comes to prize money. Only the Olympia and Arnold Classic fall in the same category.
The entire contest can be watched again courtesy of DigitalMuscle.com.
