ParticipantMeh, at this point most intelligent Americans hate/distrust both parties anyway: the Republicans have failed the country, the Democrats can't seem to offer an attractive alternative.

ParticipantAnywhere you can find that "Not Necessarily" segment on the web Ashlee?

Participant** SPOILER ALERT **
I would divide the movie into two:
First half (up to the Joker's capture/interrogation): VERY GOOD. Bank Heist was good. Joker's introduction (pencil trick) OUTSTANDING. Joker breaking into the party was great. And the inital capture of the Joker was great and had everyone fooled.
Second Half: BAD. Ferry scene was just silly, felt tacked on, and totally slammed the brakes on the pacing of this movie. Final battle scene between Bats and the Joker was a mess, totally confusing. Harvey Dent's death scene was pretty much the nail in the coffin — I was just itching to get out of the theatre at that point.khuddle
ParticipantWell, I saw it this afternoon, and let me say I'm glad I didnt drive to Jax to see it on Imax 🙁
My opinions on the movie (and JUST THAT — one man's opinions): It is PRETTY GOOD. To call it a classic or masterpiece as some critics and fans have is laughable. And it is NOT as good as Batman Begins. The strengths of the movie are an outstanding score, lush sets and cinematography, strong performances by Christian Bale and Gary Oldham, and some fantastic action sequences. Heath Ledger is definelty VERY creepy as the Joker.
In sum, I felt as if I got my money's worth for the movie, but I will not see it again nor will I buy it on DVD.

the Phantom Menace.khuddle
ParticipantI fell sorry for poor Hamilton already. Oh well. If you have to die,
no better way to die than to be constricted between Tetuko's
softball-sized calves…khuddle
ParticipantHeat? That was a good but not great movie.
