No offense Ling, but you don't think REPUBLICANS aren't going to get behind this? Or might have proposed this legislation had they retained control of both houses? That said, it's american prudism at its finest which by the way won't hurt the big boys in the porn industry, but the off the beaten path fetish sites like ours.

You may recall that we've recently completed 12 years of GOP control of both houses of Congress, during which bills like this did not pass.  In fact, the openness of the contemporary internet is at least partly a result of circumspect and responsible behavior by the GOP leadership in Congress during the first 12 years following the net's transformation into a public mass medium.

There were attempts to pass such a bill but those attempts didn't get far.  Probably this attempt won't get far, either, but it's worth watching.  Regardless, the bill has two sponsors currently and they're both Democrats.

And I call 'em like I see 'em, both ways.

Yeah, saw that quoted on one of the celeb boards.  Beckinsale's had her implants removed, which is good because they looked ridiculously fake.

Ah, yes, Norfolk was a county.  In the U.S., Norfolk is the home port for a good chunk of the U.S. Navy, not far from the original Jamestown fort.

Next month is the 400th anniversary of the successful English settlement of North America at Jamestown, btw.  Queen's comin' over; big hullabaloo.

(And about her height – I think I'm going to say that she's 6'3". That makes her noticeably taller than almost anyone else she'd encounter, without making her so tall that she looks ludicrous trying, say, to hug her boyfriend, whoever that turns out to be.)

Are you announcing a "Be Tetsuko's Boyfriend" contest?  I'd enter.  Hells yeah.

But, is it me, or Byrne gives all his heroic women the same face? Check his WW, Shulkie, etc.

I don't think we should start dinging comic book artists for drawing all women with the same face.  There might not be an end to it.

Don't Bristol and Norfolk have better self-descriptive terms than "Bristolian" and "Norfolkman"?  I know that Manchester natives are "Mancunian" and Liverpool's are "Liverpudlian", so I suppose I just assumed there was a relict Anglo-Saxon name, or witty compound name, for most of the significant towns and cities.

No offence, but I'll wait until it comes out on DVD.  I'm not a theater goer.  8)

Judging by box office returns, it should be out on DVD very soon.

Well, the New Mutants annual I listed had both age regression and progression.  The X-Men title you list I remember very fondly, as it was drawn by Art Adams, who has always been a favorite of mine.  There's a great scene where Storm wakes up to find herself a (still juggy) teenager.

I still think the teen She-Hulk appears at the beginning of the New Mutants annual.

    It's "Teen She-Hulk"! ;D

There actually was a 'Teen She-Hulk' that appeared in one of the X-Men or New Mutant annuals back in the 80s.  I think Alan Davis drew it.  Age regression was a frequent theme in those annuals, for some reason, and in one of them the New Mutants fought teenage versions of the Avengers in their Danger Room simulator.

Update:  Mighta been New Mutants Annual #2, summarized here.  Basically this issue started the intertwining of the X-Men and Captain Britain casts, which continues to this day.
