KeymasterThat is an absolutely stunning piece of work, Refaal. You should be proud. Thanks to Jed for helping inspire the color work.

KeymasterWell, there's certainly an argument to be made in favor of having a few armed employees in a school – where security guards are not available or feasible, administrators or teachers might serve as good replacements.
It seems likely that the gunman in Pennsylvania specifically chose an Amish school because the Amish are pacifists and would be neither willing nor able to resist him. On the whole, though, this problem is statistically extremely rare and school security is miles ahead of where it was prior to Columbine. I'm more worried about a Beslan-type scenario, and three or four teachers with handguns would be of little use in preventing something on that scale.

KeymasterYou should put this on Brawna.org – you can insert the images into the story and they'll appear as thumbnails in the text, which people can open by clicking.

KeymasterThe problem with that, nobody ports games to the Mac. Your options are …. warcraft 3 and games that came out 5 years ago. I couldn't even find the Mac games section the last time I went to my local EB.
Ummmm, maybe you hadn't heard but from here out, no one's going to NEED to port PC games to the Mac anymore, at least not substantively. That's because Macs now have the same processor architecture and a much thinner OS layer than Windows. By Christmas 2007, I expect many PC gamers will have switched to Mac. (The new Microsoft Vista release candidate, btw, looks to be about 10 GB in size and eats memory like nothing you've ever seen.)

KeymasterI don't know, Dave, she's looking kind of scrawny.

KeymasterI doubt there's an American cover. The costume varies from the U.S. version (red striped briefs!?), which I expect means the rights are assigned on a national or regional basis. So the Phantom in the U.S. may have a different rights-holding entity than the Phantom in Scandinavia, so different publications with limited distribution areas.
