KeymasterIt's a city council meeting for Charlotte, North Carolina. There's a citizen comment part of the meeting, which is common in the U.S. even in big cities like Charlotte, and sometimes crazies get the floor. It used to be that no one really knew about these people, but public access TV has brought some of them a fair amount of local fame.

KeymasterIt's true that people can't really control what turns on them or arouses them, and they may have those feelings for any number of reasons including post-trauma from when they were kids.
But it's also true that every person has urges or desires that can only be satisfied by violating the law or doing something immoral. Most of us control those urges. Once someone crosses the line and does what they know to be wrong, the blame is all on them.

KeymasterWhat version of Poser are you using? If it's 5 or 6, try using more lights, and raytraced shadows. Also, you need some more detailed textures.
KeymasterA bunch of kids I went to school with – my age – lost their virginity at 11 or 12. This was mostly to each other, but the rumor was that one or two had been molested by adults previously. I didn't lose mine until years later and I was mostly unaware at the time my school friends were losing theirs – I knew something weird was going on, but not what.
It didn't do any of them any favors to start having sex at 12. It messed them all up. Two of them are wrecks, a third has AIDS, and I blame what happened back then.
If young teens take to having sex with each other, well, that's unfortunate but I don't know what can really be done about it. But if someone older takes to having sex with young teens? Shoot them in the head.

KeymasterPublic forums aren't meant for person-to-person communication. Amaz0ns processes dozens of times more PMs than public posts, and the forums would rapidly become unmanageable if the numbers were reversed.
KeymasterWell, Ireland is just fucked up. It's difficult to extrapolate any lessons at all for the rest of the world based on what goes on there.
KeymasterBut Christian extremism and Islamic extremism aren't equally bad. They're not even in the same ballpark. Just compare the body count in the U.S. On the Christian extremist side there's three or four assassinated abortion doctors in fifteen years, and we have something like 200 million Christians. Nobody loses sleep over what Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson might say or do tomorrow.
Don't tell me "Timothy McVeigh", because McVeigh was a lapsed Catholic and a self-professed agnostic. He never cited any kind of scriptural or biblical motivation for what he did.
