KeymasterDoes anyone else but Dave have trouble viewing profiles? At launch I put a restriction in for the global moderators to keep them from viewing IP addresses and hidden information that they would otherwise have been able to see. This was done at the request of some users who were concerned about their privacy. As it stands now only I have access to private information. That data is stored in a secure database and requires an encrypted password hash – mine or the individual user's – to access it. It's possible my kluge was too effective and I screwed up all access to the profiles for the global mods.

KeymasterI'll look into both of these over the weekend.

KeymasterIt's still sad. Maybe we can pull a "Phantom Edit"?

KeymasterDave, why don't you use ray trace software to do the robot and the backdrops? It would be a lot quicker, and would let you focus on drawing the stuff you really like to draw. You could throw a few low-polygon buildings, people and cars down, and then add detail in post render if you felt it was called for.
Here's a great 3D model of a robot: http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=32453
Check out the guy's other stuff. It's pretty cheap and it looks great. I also like this a lot: http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=36424
I think you have Poser, right? Which version? I've recently been experimenting with the volumetric lighting features in Poser 5. Pretty cool stuff.

KeymasterWe try to use moderator actions sparsely. But when something needs a sledgehammer we bring out the sledgehammer.
I run the site. Marknew and David C. Matthews have global moderator powers and a number of other people have local moderator powers, specific to the boards they oversee.
I can ban users, and I can even ban IP addresses and whole IP blocks. If I don't want you here you won't be here – period. I'm not going to tolerate people dumping their trash on these boards.

KeymasterIt's not working as well as it should, but I have to go to bed now or I won't be able to get up in the morning. I'll try to get it to 100% by noon.

KeymasterWhen someone openly says that don't know what they're talking about, they don't deserve to be respected.
I expect you to, regardless.

KeymasterJesus, in one short post you've become one of the biggest whiners about being falsely persecuted.
You don't seem to be able to disagree with someone without impugning their character in some way. Normally I wouldn't point this out, but not only is that a character flaw, it is a bigger character flaw than any of the ones commonly on display on this messageboard.

KeymasterAnyone who goes on a reality show is asking for trouble. In addition to the lower costs associated with producing such shows, the production company delights in being able to deal with people who have no agent representation. In the waivers for such programs participants are generally asked to surrender many of their rights, and obviously have no editorial control over how they're to be depicted.
That said, one of the makeover shows – can't remember which, it was on a cable-only network like TLC or Bravo about a year ago – featured a New Hampshire bodybuilder and barely made an issue of her muscularity. Several people on the show commented that she had "a terrific body", which they implied to be ever so helpful for the purposes of a makeover.

KeymasterTo the mods, I apologize if this is the wrong section.
Close enough.
Delmo, we need to start a collection to get you a video capture device.
