In the past, chat rooms have rarely lasted because they make significant demands on server resources.  However, with the advent of XMPP applicaitons like Google Wave and TinyChat, which allow clients to talk to one another with minimal server use, we may be entering a golden age of chat.

So it's likely to get easier and easier from here on out.

Where did the video originate, btw?  It seems like maybe someone specifically set out to record Lambert's misbehavior.  Also, it's very likely that the coach encourages Lambert to do this kind of stuff.  Physical harassment of the opposition might be her job on the team.

WTF? Jail time for cheating at sport? Aren't we taking it all just a bit too seriously!? In any case, when looking at those photos of her working out in a gym and flexing, it's hard not to marvel at the irony when considering what was to come. Maybe she should have trained with a natural bodybuilder!

It's a crime to lie to a Federal agent in the U.S.  She didn't have to talk to them at all – anyone can just say, "I don't want to speak to you" – but if someone chooses to speak to a Federal agent and then lies, it's a big deal.
