Seriously, I think (and hope) that Lingster wasn't being entirely serious in his point with those videos.  The President of your great land made a gaffe.  The Governor of Alaska made several during the campaign last year.  We all make gaffes. 

Some people think the definition of "gaffe" is "a politician saying what he really thinks".

You Americans certainly have wild swings of weather!  Snow to 80F in a week?! 😮

Yeah, it happened in the space of a week all over the east coast.  Basically, the jet stream surged north and tropical air came flooding up the eastern seaboard.  It can happen.  Currently it's retreating and arctic air is moving back in – so I went from wearing short sleeves yesterday to a sweater and parka shell today.  Weather in North America is violent and mercurial – moreso than on any other continent.
