@cray17: blog promotion usually works better if there's something THERE.  When I launch new blogs or sites, I usually don't start telling people about them until there are at least three or four substantive posts there.

I'm getting lots of reports of unusualness from the Emerald Cup.  Somebody must have slipped something into the water.

VLC is an open source video player.  With the right codecs, it will play just about every format.  It's less finicky than Windows Media Player or Quicktime.

Seriously, at some point in the next month or so I'l be changing the forum software.  Until then we're just going to have to live with these occasional glitches.
