    Boris and Julie used to hang out at New jersey shows in the late 80's early 90's. I once tried unwittingly to pick her up when she was having car trouble but her 'boyfriend was going to be there soon.' It was at the night show I found out who I was hitting on. If you were in the area and went to the shows you would have recognized a lot of the heros, male and female, in the painting.

    Ahhh sweet memories. Of Jaguar. Of getting Jaguar cover artist Mark Beachum to do a muscle gal, sold it, really just a gal with abs, and of getting a piece from Sandra Chang. Don't know where it is. Mark was a guy who defined cool. He'd be siting there drawing and inking at a con a cigarette dangling over the page having conversations with Sandra, Joe Linser and Kevin Taylor. Made a straight arrow like me feel really out of place and with it all at the same time. He'd finish a piece blow off the ashes before he gave it to the person who paid for it.

    The art style looks like the same art style as Aeon Flex.

    Same director/artist.
    If you search Veoh you can get some Innocent Venus. Better yet if you like it ADV is licensing it so you'll be able to get it on a real DVD.

    Nice post spider6, I never saw that because I so disliked the style. The directors characters were always too stringy for me.
    And nationalist19. I'll have to keep a look out for that lady pirate. Go to the Innocent Venus page here she's forth from the bottom if I'm right.
