Again I had my quibbles with Justice League War, and I know we all have different tastes and as Aesop would tell us, you can’t please everybody all the time, and if you do you lose your ass.
However, I think some of the criticism is a bit misguided. First the people complaining that the parademons all look the same. Would you say that its lame that all the storm troopers in star wars look the same.
Again there is a reason for the sameness.
Its not like the old filmation superman cartoons where they reuse the same asteroid and punching animation for superman to hit over and over and over again. The animation for dispatching the parademons was all unique. And really the corners they did cut in the animation were not as blatant as in the past.
My biggest gripe was when the parademons got sent back through the boom tubes. They used a 3d model and I don’t think they added any animation to it. They just sent it spinning. And also the colors didn’t match up as nicely as they should.
But, otherwise they had nicely detailed backgrounds throughout and solid animation throughout as well.
I will say some of the lip sync stunk, but that is a plauge of all modern day animation. Sometimes darksieds voice and green lanterns were not close. But, again that’s a problem that is plaguing all modern animation.
And about the characters. First wonder woman although I don’t like her outfit, her build is a nice muscular build, like a figure model. And yes, she should be more regal and not like child. But, I’ll take her child like persona over the uptight feminist man-hater that Frank Miller wrote her like.
Calling all men sperm donors and worse. The old comics had their share of problems and so do the new 52…
However, I thought the first 18 issues of Justice League were pretty damn good. Good stories and great art. The whole Court and Night of the Owls with Batman was one of the best batman stories. Despite the lame action sequences.
And Jonah Hex, didn’t change much… Not until they sent him to gotham in the present… So again ups and downs its a mostly enjoyable ride. But, nothing is perfect.
So allow me to get off my Donkey, and let me carry it into town to please the next person.

I just watched “Justice League War”. I still stand by my earlier statement that removing aquaman was all kinds of stupid. However, Captain Marvel(called Shazam) in this works. They adapted it in a manner that I felt was decent and not horrible. But, the decision still was horrible to have “Captain Marvel” in it to begin with. Jim Lee even remarked that Supes power set and Marvels were the same. So then don’t have them.
But, in the movie they call Captain Marvel “Shazam” and that again is just too stupid. How could he introduce himself. Well apparently he can say shazam without the lightening coming down.
I don’t like that name change.
As for the story its action packed, but then again all the DC animated movies with the exception of Doom and All Star Superman are action packed. This might be the most action packed yet however. And again I think they did a nice job adapting, except for what I said above. I do have some minor gripes about other things. But, all in all not a bad job.
I do want to say one thing to all the people claiming cheap animation. The animation is top notch. The only time you will see better 2d animation is in a Disney Theatrical release. And disney doesn’t do too much of those these days.
Its true the do integrate 3d models that can look a bit out of place at times, but that is common practice now. Some of the boom tubes you can also tell they were the same model just copied and pasted. Still all in all the characters move in a fluid manner and plenty of detail for the designs and backgrounds.
Also Phil Borrosa did the character designs, and he is the best at WB for the characters. I do agree I’m not 100% happy with how some look, but I blame Jim Lee and all the other people with the new 52 reboot.
All in all its worth your time watching.
Still I can’t wait to see what secret project Bruce Timm has been up to.

The JLA trapped in time was an original story… And some of the animation is quite good, simple but don’t confuse simple animation with cheap. Its well animated, but the problem is the story. Its geared toward little kids. And they forgot you can write for kids and still have a good product. As in most pixar movies and young justice and other quality shows.
The justice league is not the focal points its the two teen heroes that travel back in time, and they are both lame sauce.
Justice League War should be damn good… But, the decision to go with Captain Marvel instead of Aquaman makes no sense. It alters the chemistry of the entire movie. And takes out a couple of iimportant scenes. Like when Batman reveals himself to Green Lantern, when he goes to acopcolyspe to rescue superman. He does so, because they need their heavy hitter back. Having Captain Marvel back is like having a 2nd superman. Really really dumb. Also the point was that none of the heroes got along, Captain Marvel is just too nice and I don’t see him rubbing anyone the wrong way.
Then another disappointment. THe coolest moment in the comic was when Aquaman stabbed Darksyde in the eye with his trident. Blinding his 2nd eye after wonder woman blinded the first.
That moment was both epic, and showed how one of the first moment of bonding within the team.

Really stupid how the writers don’t know that their decisions have ramifications. They took a great origin comic and pissed on it.
Still I am looking forward to the movie and will have it in the mail the day it comes out.

I got a cool little update for you all. I was super lucky to be able to commission the great and talented Deadbad again for another set of Mighty and Muscular Pinups. And I must say how much I really enjoyed how these turned out. I think they all embody a nice playful sense of humor, as well as the girls embodied with thick bulging muscles.
Anyway I thought for the people who might not be familiar with Deadbad’s work that I would post his past samples in this post as well. But, the newest one is the topmost link.

Howdy, got a cool little update for you all.
Its 10 amazing images drawn by the great musclexx. I just really love his work, to me the women that he creates are the closest to the ideal female form that is in my own mind. Howdy all,
Just wanted to share with you all that there is a new comic up on the site. It’s full title is “I Put A Spell On You And Now Your Strength Is Mine!” But, that is quite a mouthful, so its listed just as “Spell On You!”
The title really tells you all there is to know about it, but I’m going to go into a little detail just for fun. Its drawn by the talented Femfortefan, and this marks the 4th time we worked together, and I think its continued our streak of quality comics together. For its both an engaging read, and yet has plenty of passion, humor, action, and other zaniness. Some of you might recognize the plot of this comic as being very similar to “Changing Behavior” and that’s because its the same script just retooled. But, trust me it has a completely different feel to it. I loved “Changing Behavior”, but I knew Femfortefan would really hit a home run with the story, and I wasn’t wrong. Without a doubt I think this is one of the best comics on my site currently.

Hey all,
I got a really terrific image for you all to check out. Its from my newest update for my site. Its 12 amazing muscular pinup babes drawn by the great CGMan.
I think this is the best set yet. You’ll find the full gallery at my site. This set has the typical pinups but we have two special ones in the set. There is a bicep flex chain break and a pillar topple. Those were hard for me not to choose as a sample image. But, I really love this one.
Hope you all like it, I think its one of the sexiest images that will ever grace my site. Its a bit like the old school coyote and scoundrel drawings.

Howdy gang!
Super pleased to share these samples with you all. This is from my newest comic “Just Desserts”. Its about a group of just dejected and depressed cheerleaders who are feed up always cheering for the same ol bunch of jerky losers that make up their football team. Well one of the girls mothers bakes them a batch of brownies to cheer them up.
And these brownies sure do pack on the pounds, only instead of fat is solid muscle! The girls all hulk out and they decide its time to show the boys how its done on the football field. The typical zaniness and wackiness you all come to expect from a Mighty Female Muscle Comix production is all there. It has 4 super cool FMG sequences and lots of displays of female strength and power.
The comic itself is 36 pages and is just a real delight to read.

I really learned a lot working on this comic with powerman, as his art style is very unique and different from the style that I am use to. Which I think translates to one of the most unique comics up on my site to date. It was really a pleasure to work with such a talented man.

As these are samples from my latest folio which is entitled Nude Figure Folio. Title pretty much sums it up. Its just a simple image set, about one woman sans clothes posing and flexing. I really enjoyed making this photo set and I think it shows as I made 50 images for it. I just really enjoy working with this 3d model, and just kept making more and more images. I think you all will enjoy what you see.
I really can’t wait to put her into a comic, and I know this might sound weird, but I can’t wait to put some clothes on her. I wonder what kind of wardrobe she would have though.

Just noticed this post. I must say this is something that in my stories I try to touch base on. Not saying I always if ever succeed in that.
I have one comic called Gym Owners Wife, that in that story a fit but non-muscular woman becomes much stronger than her alpha male husband. Its a slow growth fmg type story, where she gains the muscle through hard work and dedication. She does get more dominant as she gets stronger. But, she never stops loving her husband. He also gets a little weaker as well.
Its fantasy though as she lifts weights that are impossible to life.
One thing I like about this comic is its over 70 pages, so its a big one. But, its a bit crude in both storytelling and my artwork, as its one of my first comics I ever made. Didn’t understand the medium as well as I thought. Some of the artwork is good, some is pure shit.
I got more stories in the pipe that I am making that I hope to tackle more of the mindset. I got one story in the pipe that is about an out of shape couple getting into shape. But, the woman takes to weights like a fish to water. I’m going to try real hard and not go the domination route with that story, and make it a sexy muscle worship story instead.
But, yeah I always do my best to tell the best stories I can, its just that in this genre the fetish elements tend to cast a big shadow.
