    Ah! Thank you Cowprobe 🙂

    Thank you for the lead, Alex. It seems I have to create an account to access the giantess.com forums, and it's apparently quite a lengthy and manual process now. I'll have to wait until the webmaster ok's me *twiddle thumbs* (an FAQ would still be nicer though ^^;;)

    … I have a manga style?! Since when? My style is "tracing Adam Hughes". ^_^ (Really? Manga? I don't see it, but thanks.) And welcome to Amaz0ns!

    Ah… pardon me. It's just that I'm used to anime/manga, so I tend to see even the slightest hint as being anime/manga-influenced. Thank you for introducing me to Adam Hughes, it seems he has a range of styles. His less realistic ones kind of do resemble anime style, and your interpretation of it even has the flat-ish colouring and defined linework like in anime/manga. Your style is quite distinct from Adam Hughes, so I wouldn't call it "tracing", but you were probably just being modest *lol* Thank you for the welcome, I'm starting to snuggle into this forum quite comfortably.

    Hey there, a bit belated, but I enjoyed that! It was like being transported to a parallel universe, as the settings were felt quite real. The part I enjoyed most was the fighting spirit that everyone showed, particularly June, and the sportswomanship. Carolyn provided good comedy. I thought Zdenka was a bit of a duffer to make so many mistakes, but hey, it led to an armwrestling match, which was an appreciated bonus. I'm not familiar with Strongman competitions, so the events were interesting to me. However, for people who are used to Strongman competitions, I wonder if they might find these events too similar just with heavier weights? I mention this because when you said

    many of the things you see are going to be a lot different from what you would see in any modern strength contest, mostly because of the women are so strong

    it really hooked my curiosity as to what wonderously brutal contraptions may lie in wait. Anyhoo, thanks for an enjoyable read.

    Anonymity is integral to the internet, so requiring everyone to post, I'm not sure that I'd agree. But Lingster is god, so…

    If the purpose is to get 500 more members to post, I like the idea of a Member Intro forum. Members who don't post might not mean that they don't care – maybe they're just afraid to. Meeting new people is scary, because many of us worry whether we'll be accepted. For Member Intro to work, I think it's also important for other members to welcome the new members – perhaps something like a welcoming committee.

    Also, many people think their thoughts don't count. So they might be a fan of someone's work, but never post because… they don't think the authors/artists care. Do authors/artists care? If so, then perhaps members should be educated about it. Maybe mention it in the Rules/Guidelines/Announcements – somewhere  where everyone would read.

    My congratulations also 🙂 We haven't met, but I've peeked at your LJ and was very moved by what I've read there. I'll introduce myself properly once I find my footing here ^^;

    Hi, I'm new to this community, but hopefully not for too long.

    Why do people like something? From my observations, it's because they can relate to it, not necessarily because it's technically accomplished. Like a song from a favourite movie, or food that they grew up with. Often, it's subconscious.

    I agree with whoever said popularity/fame is fickle. Society likes to compare and rank, and wants me to think that a work which is "popular" is somehow "better". Why should I put someone else's opinions & values above my own? It seems most people here are following their own beat, because they have chosen to defy society's norms of what is "beautiful", and that's inspiring. Pioneers are like that, and they're often not appreciated until they're dead.

    So… I see art, writing, music and any form of creative expression as a gift. And what you create is something only you can do. As long as doing it gives you enjoyment, keep going. The road may be hard & discouraging, but you'll gain something worthwhile, like self-discovery and supportive friends.

    PS. From browsing the forum, your art seems to be quite popular. Why do you think it's not?

    I'm a newbie, just got access to this forum and this is my first post. I haven't seen these pics before, so I'm glad you shared them. Thank you!

    I particularly like your manga style, and the FHM cover is really funny. Threads is also funny, and your characters are HAWT!
