Thanks! 🙂 I’m actually a writer who had the artwork I present commissioned or donated by friends of mine, most of whom I got to know when I did some work in the comics industry (which you can check out here if you’re interested). I’ll keep adding stuff to the site as often as I can, and I sure appreciate hearing from folks about about what they like and what they want to see more of.

Believe me, it's all good. I realized that making my site the subject of my first post might be a bit dodgy to some, but I figured that was mitigated at least a bit by the fact that it's all free, and also of interest to participants in this particular thread. If I had posted my message in a topic dedicated to, say, muffin recipes, then I would deserve all the flaming I got. 😉 Thanks for the kind reactions, and I'll keep trying make the site a fun place to visit. Suggestions, to the extent that I can accommodate them, are welcome.

Forgot to answer this. Regarding Rebelette, I definitely have plans to move that project forward; I just have to get the attention of the artist I was gonna work with on that (he's a coach and it's high school football season, so he's mega-busy) and see where we stand.

Oh, and thanks for the welcome, Dave! I'm putting up a promo for your site on the blog today, so the extra five or six visitors you get may come from me! 😉

Thanks everybody for the kind words about the site. Jack, you're right, there was a big ol' gap in updates there, not that I was all that consistent with that to begin with. 😉 I decided to become more regular with it, even if I just put up one or two articles a day, and add new artwork when I can. It's become fun to do, so I'll just keep up with it and see where it goes!

Hey Gang–

First-time poster here; hope I've found the right topic in which to mention this. I run a site called Bad Grrls (http://www.badgrrls.com), and it's mostly about art of the kinds being discussed here. I've updated a couple of the galleries recently, and it's all free, so I'd love it if you'd check it out and let me know what you think. There's also a blog that I've been able to update more regularly. Enjoy!  ;D
