ParticipantThe Arnold was a HUGE disappointment for our crew. They got the dreaded “no-show” text one hour before she was scheduled to show up. It was our first setback, but we managed to film the other model who DID show up after a three hour drive.
Now I don’t feel so bad about missing the Arnold.

The guys did a fantastic job with these stills. Although this final video isn’t a muscle worship piece we wanted, I wanted to share this with you guys since you all are fans.

ParticipantUnfortunately, a family surgery is keeping me at home this weekend, but the guys are still shooting. This will be awesome as we’re taking the muscle worship genre into an entirely new direction with a retro 50’s look… I cannot wait!!

ParticipantGoodness… these just made my day.
Thanks for sharing!

ParticipantI enjoyed this article. REALLY enjoyed it. Bravo, Zoe. And thanks Alex for sharing. You KNEW I’d chomp at this, didn’t ya, doll?
As most of my dear friends here know, I am an advocate for equality across the board when it comes to getting the public’s perceptions to change. Zoe’s points are dead on, but if I could add to that… it’s also true for all women in general. We are conditioned to feel, look, and act a certain way in society… well, mostly in the West.
Growing up, I struggled with my weight constantly. I read People magazines, loved my Bridal periodicals and looking the part as pretty as I could. It was all a nightmare, at least in my teens and early 20’s. I write more about this on my blog, but to put it bluntly, being a woman here in the United States is hell. It took me 20 years, countless counselors, endless bouts with anorexia, and thousands of wasted dollars to conclude that I AM who I am… a woman with curves. It all comes down to personal choice. FBB’ers make a choice to look the way they do, I chose to the look the way I do, and so on. While much of my adoration sprang from a sexual attraction years ago, I’ve come to appreciate the dedication and hard work it takes to be a “woman of heroic proportions”. Will society ever accept that? Probably not. Who gives a shit. Are we here to live for the world, or for the ones we love and our better health?
The ONLY thing I would say that needs to change (and probably CAN be changed) is the industry itself… start making the winnings from shows better, give more social and professional incentives to being fit and healthier…
Sorry for the rant. It’s just a topic I’m very passionate about.
Peace and love,
~Mimi
PS: As for Zoe’s mention of the T&A spreads… I agree, but those make us smile occasionally. 😉

ParticipantWell said, Masschine. Ditto.
I see both sides of it now that we’re into the video production side of it too. But thankfully my partner already had a grasp on the production side of things before we launched. That being said, I do think there is always room for improvement, but it is rather constrictive when the clock is your own worst enemy.
But, back to the topic at hand… 😉
I think its brilliant that Awefilms was able to get Annie and Aleesha together for a shoot.

ParticipantI watched these videos too, and I agree with a lot of what’s being said.
But… it is what it is, boys. I know our expectations are high, and we want the best possible product, but I don’t go into it expecting Spielberg production values, or Shakespeare-esque performances. You have to remember that the odds of these ladies having any formal acting training are minimal at best. Also, the odds are that they save the most intimate and exotic acts for when the camera isn’t around.
Considering the heavy cross promoting blizzard we saw, yes, the bar was set rather high.
But then again, what do I know? 😉
Peace and Love,

ParticipantI inquired about shooting with her at the Arnold, and the poor girl is booked solid. Good for her though!! I’m glad to see her embracing the girl/girl themes.

ParticipantHoping for the best, but expecting the worst.
I hope it DOES work for them, but I’ll be interested to see what direction they take her body in the next few months.

ParticipantI am convinced now that we are walking amongst true Goddesses on this Earth… and I STILL want to bear her children.
