ParticipantHoney, the fact that you’re writing is a triumph all unto itself. Anyone who takes the time and thought into creating a story should be applauded.
I can’t reply in detail just yet, but with dialogue, it’s not as hard as you think. What I do is place myself in their shoes, and actually say the words as I try to write them. Speak the words out loud and hear them… I also have some of my GF’s read for me when they come over so I can hear it. At times, I often think WTF!? as I hear my dialogue coming back to me.
Remember a great line from Harrison Ford’s comment on Star Wars… “You can write this stuff, but you can’t really SAY it.” I love that line. 😉
“Show, not tell.” Honey, you HAVE to tell because it’s a worded story. Show it in a film or a piece of art, TELL it in a story. :-*
More later, sweetie. Remember, we ALL are a work in progress. Stories too! Wait until I post my draft of my next story… I dread that feedback! 😀
XOXOXO’s
PS: I appreciate your kindness in not taking this personally. I want to help you tell a beautiful story.

ParticipantPersonally, I would have prefered a romantic superheroic/protective storyline – but then, that's just me.

ParticipantHow did I miss this thread? LOL Well, the main source I have been able to find are links and suggestions from other members here. It’s a niche market really. What exactly are you looking for, Big Bopper? Videos, stories, pics? I’ve got a few (emphasize the word ‘few’) videos and images in my collection at home, which I’m more than happy to share once I return home this weekend.
The online lesbian scene is so vast, and when you filter it down to buff babes, well, then you’re seriously limited to a few scattered bits here and there.
Last year I found some amazing girl/girl videos on Awefilms.com, but had to pay for them, which I didn’t mind at all.
I lean towards the buff babe – normal babe combination myself since that’s what I mostly do. I forgot the name of the video on Awefilms, but featured a colossal babe with a beautiful young girl who idolized her champion’s muscles in open mouthed awe… it was stunning to see her reaction as she caressed her lover’s muscles… priceless.
I’ll be more than happy to share my findings as they come in, honey.
Peace and Love,
Mimi
ParticipantDisclaimer: Please don’t feel like I am being negative or mean spirited in my tone. I only offer my advice because I was asked.
One important aspect in telling a story; albeit good or bad is the fact that you have to give the reader a reason to sit there and read your words. It's just like a movie; give your audience a good enough reason to spend their time, and walk away feeling that it was time well spent. What makes a good story is really up to the reader, and what he or she is looking for. Its just like going to a library and searching for what you want.
I don't know enough about specific themes in the muscular female domain to say what members want in their stories, but here are some of the questions I ask myself when I write my stories.
1) What are the main characters, and what are their goals?
2) Are their goals something the average reader can identify with?
3) Make the characters' quest for their goals a challenge.
4) Are the words I use clear enough to accurately describe their feelings and thoughts?I enjoyed how you started to paint the landscape of the characters. Very well done. The only thing I would suggest is take the time and elucidate their emotional state of mind too… but that's a detail that may or may not be necessary depending on what you want to achieve in your story.
I'd add more atmosphere… pretend you're telling a blind man the story. Don't be afraid to use colorful words too. If you use Word, the Thesaurus feature is an amazing tool. I often use that and http://thesaurus.reference.com to help use words that may not be well known, but reads effortlessly. A good understanding of the words you use is so incredibly important in telling a satisfying story. That's why good novels made into films often leave the viewer wanting more elements and details to the story.
Compel the reader… leave us breathless, and wanting more. Motivate us, inspire us. Although I’m not a female muscle expert (or claim to be one), I do know that a woman of power and grace IS inspiring… seeing a woman of magnificent strength and colossal muscles are what inspired artists and writers thousands of years ago. Keep in mind that language and words can be used as powerful weapons of seduction.
Be inspired, sweetie… you are writing about something very special to all of us. You’re on the right path. 😉
Love,
Mimi
ParticipantSome girls deserve a good girl too…
😉
Mimi
ParticipantI agree
Thanks sweetie… :-*
I didn't mean to drop a bomb, its just that this is something I thought I faced in college… some dumb dyke who ran her mouth for the sake of attention. I hate using the word 'dyke', but she really just gets under my skin in all the wrong ways. But she has given us girls such a bad name… so now, whatever lesbian is shouting the loudest on TV, their face is put to OUR lives, and whenever our friends and family see me, they always want to know what I think of Rosie.
But love and peace is my style, and I typically don't get all worked up over things, especially in the nutty media realm. Sorry about that…
So let me quell this rebellion with a boquet of flowers and a kiss…
Peace AND love (what a sexy combination),
Mimi
ParticipantI searched on YouTube, and couldn't find it. What's the plot? Action/adventure/romance? My vote is that its a romance!
I completely understand your struggles, Smitty. I have several filmmaker friends who go through the same issues with their films. Its such a struggle doing what you LOVE to do versus what you HAVE to do just to get by. **Hugs**

ParticipantMy take is this…
A muscular girl who prides herself on nature's way of beauty doesn't need implants. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… BUT (and its a sweet big butt, mind you) I've dated FBB's with implants and I was taken by how well proportioned they were.
When I want a girl (in sexual terms), its about her muscles, and NOT her breasts. I prefer a hard smooth chest to lay my head on at night anyway.
Just my $.02 worth…
Peace and Love,
Mimi
ParticipantI absolutely cannot stand her. And we’re both lesbians, and I am ashamed to say she is one. She gives us girls a bad rap, and there is nothing more offensive and repugnant than a loud mouthed blubber mouth that might as well kick and scream for her to be the center of attention. I don’t march around here in Chicago for people to accept me or my opinions, and neither should she. She goes against every characteristic a woman should be… I value a strong willed woman, but only for her family and/or wife.
I wish I could slap the shit out of her.
Sorry, she just really irritates me. I’m usually not this emotional about things… well, I am about a nice buff babe, but that’s for another thread.
XOXO’s

ParticipantThis is one of my most beloved threads… each drawing is utterly flawless and just so picture perfect. These artists are absolutely gifted with a flair for the most charming attributes of these babes.
Thanks for sharing, Alex!
