ParticipantWrong again, I'm afraid to say. While he is from Brazil, his fighting style is based around the fact he is ferral and raised in the Jungle (his skin is green because the chlorophyll seeped in or some shit, and he learned his electric shock attack from Eels…apparently).
I believe there is a Capoeira person in SFIII called Elena, who if memory serves is African as well. She was superbly well animated.

ParticipantFast paced, lots of fireballs and flashing effects, very nice. Anybody remember Virtual Fighter (VF3 for PS2)? In that video game the characters use pure martial arts, each one with dozens of moves drawn from a particular and well-defined fighting style, and no artifical special effects or super powers. And there are several female characters in it, some quite buff and all pretty to look at.
Yeah, I just picked up playing my Virtua Fighter 4 again(Vanessa, all the way!), but did you see 5? I HATE what they did with her…

ParticipantWow, I saw the early images and didn't think much of her, now, she's cooler than I thought! She does capoeira, so there won't be much(if anything) strengthwise, but with her body, maybe we're that much closer to a new female wrestler in a fighting game(though I'm not holding my breath).
