    I actually don’t understand how anyone thinks her original costume isn’t functional anyway. It has no cape to get in the way, she has full movement of her limbs, and she’s not in heels.

    Leather jacket? Really? How is that functional?

    However, as someone has said, it’s a freaking comic book. Suspension of reality is a given.

    This is f-ing stupid, but one thing I do know about comics, it won’t last. The original is too iconic. They tried the same crap with Superman and he always end up back in some close variation of his original suit.

    Jesse used to be one of the builders on Extreme 4×4 that aired during the Powerblock on Spike.  She is a bigger petrol head than I am.

    Great pic!  I've always loved the idea of a muscled amazon that can treat the most powerful of comic superheroes/superheroines as if they were as frail as any us.

    She could be saying, "Aww you're so cute!"

    I had planned for them to be colored, but times is hard in the U.S. right now.

    I'm not so impressed.

    First, she's moving that weight all of a few inches which hardly counts as a deadlift.  Second, technique is everything with power lifts.

    This is not a brag, but I've trained women who can lift almost that much from the ground.

    Thanks Ashlee- sorry about the content, though!  I have always drawn the fighting amazons, and bondage stuff, and my clientele is tending to want pictures like that too.  But I like your idea- I would like to draw something in that vein also.  I'll definitely try to keep it in mind.  In the meantime this Reddyheart story should be good!

    Well, when you finish the latest two I was thinking about having you do a comic for me.  Something along the vein of what you are talking about above.
