ParticipantAnyway – I dislike the goofy Slott.. it does little for me.
I disagree. Comics needs goofiness, especially nowadays, when the editors' plans for mega-events seem to consist entirely of "Which characters can we f*ck up the most with this?"
It seems like Marvel went out of their way to downplay any cheesecake overtones, choosing a "quirky" artist like Bobillo to launch the title, and having him followed by a string of very pedestrian artists (Will Conrad being the one exception).
I don't know about that. I thought Paul Pelletier's work was EXCELLENT. (Though I agree about Bobillo; anybody who makes the Champion of the Universe look like a schlub should not be allowed to work in comics.)

ParticipantSo the comic calls her "Bootykah", then? ???
I think it was pronounced "Boo-DEE-kah" in that one Duck Dodgers episode…

ParticipantI would say She-Hulk from her "Savage" era, as the current comic on the shelves these days is an abomination to the character.
Speaking as a Marvel geek, I must speak out in defense of one of the few remaining well-written comics left in the universe. I challenge you to a duel, Ghostface! Infinity Gauntlets at dawn!
