NecrochildKParticipant
It kind of reminds me of my mom's reaction when I told her I wanted to get into bodybuilding. "Why you want to do that?! You know if you're too heavy, your heart will give out! Look at all those big, husky football players that die of heart attacks!" Well gee… bodybuilder… football player… from what I've seen at least what little I've seen on tv, many football players have a high amount of fat on top of muscle. Not saying that fat is always unhealthy, but… You get the idea.
NecrochildKParticipantThanks so much guys. I just really hope my body starts responding to the medication. I miss going to the gym. On the upside, I managed to go to the Louisiana Renfair this past Saturday. So right now I'm recovering from the consequences, basically my body acts like it's got a cold a few days when I overexert myself like that. But it was worth it. Funny thing of it all. I was walking all day long and the muscles in my legs didn't tired out at all. XD My heel, however, is another matter, as is my back. So I guess that's one thing I gained from the gym in the past year or so. My back will always be a problem, but my legs are great for walking. lol Just need to see a podiatrist to get my heel fixed. Or at least get the pain out.
NecrochildKParticipantThanks Lion, and FM. ::hugs:: lol Though FM, this is supposed to be my bounce back. This is 10 long years of supposed recovery from cancer and chemotherapy and it's left me worse than ever.
NecrochildKParticipantThanks CP. IF we can get my endocrine system in order. I just pray it can happen.
NecrochildKParticipant::hugs tight:: Thanks so much, Jimmy.
NecrochildKParticipantBeen out of the gym for a bit over a month due to the process of moving into a new house. Despite this though, I've actually lost about five pounds from being more active (and probably from not eating properly either)
NecrochildKParticipantFrom at least this woman's perspective, it's more like I see guys like Lee Priest or this one guy at the gym I go to and it's in my head "I want to be THAT big..! Or bigger." I want to go as big as I can and as strong as I can. For me though, it's wanting to have the health at least of a normal person, and wanting to be more than I ever was before cancer.
NecrochildKParticipant^_^ Awesome! It really came out good. Now I'm curious though as to your method used to piece them together so cleanly.
