ParticipantI gotta go with Cheetara, she was the first she-cat I was introduced to; I was completely hooked on Thundercats as a kid (though in retrospect, it wasn't all that great…but I still like the music of the series, including Cheetara's theme). Plus, she's super-fast, toned, and appeared naked (though with a featureless "action-figure-anatomy" body) in the very first episode. And she had a husky voice too (though the voice actress must've done nearly all the female voices on the show). I haven't found too much fan-art of her though, hope that changes with this thread.

ParticipantAs I understand it, Athena's the aspect of war derived from tactics & strategy (tying in with her "goddess of wisdom" status): fighting to accomplish a particular purpose or goal. Ares's aspect is about fighting for the thrill of combat (and of course, victory in battle). Perhaps Ares' company also sponsors (unscripted) professional boxing and/or wrestling (with his "avatar" taking a double-identity as a featured combatant in such bouts)?
I would also imagine that Ares' corporate business practices (whatever they end up being) might be more impulsive in nature, seeking a quick profit (and in the process fostering competition and conflict between different groups of various sizes), undertaking high-risk ventures with near-immediate payoffs and reprecussions (usually violent in nature). Dyna's intervention would no doubt change the stakes, and perhaps all she might need to do to stop Ares' plans would be to make the venture unprofitable, or to prevent the part of the scheme designed to instigate further conflict (and presumably to do that, she'd be applying Athena's aspect of wisdom to the problem, so it'd still fit with her "avatar of Athena" vibe). Presumably Ares would abandon a plan that could no longer inspire the violence he desires to bring about, and that could be how Dyna manages some of her victories over him.
I'd imagine that Ares (and/or his minions/avatars) would be a fierce and impulsive warrior (in actual combat), and would have a hard time walking away from any fight or challenge (even one where he might be at a disadvantage somehow).
Also of note, I think the goddess of Strife/Discord (can't remember the name, but she was involved in throwing the golden apple that eventually led to the Trojan War) is supposed to be related to Ares, so (if other dieties…even minor ones…are allowed to show up) perhaps she might be hanging around as a sort of mercenary, occasionally (but not always) aiding Ares in his schemes that cause the most conflict and chaos.
As long as I'm rattling off names of dieties, I believe Ares had a particular weakness for the charms of Aphrodite (she seduced him into an affair on several occasions I believe)…I don't know if that would or should get any play in the series, but I'm just throwing it out there since I remembered it. In the Roman mythos he's Mars, and I know the two moons of the planet Mars are supposed to be named after related dieties, so further research there might yield more ideas (provided that there's any interest in incorporating that many dieties out of the mythology into the series).
I don't know about the Furies…as I recall they were supposed to be creatures seeking vengeance and were eventually removed from power by Apollo who instituted "justice from laws" to replace their bloodthirsty ways. I don't think they were tied to Ares in any way, although I don't have my old Mythology textbook with me, and beside there's dramatic license to consider…the "Hercules" series with Kevin Sorbo was constantly deviating from Greek mythology and plenty of people still enjoyed it.
While I'd love to see influences from the mythology in Dyna stories, you can be sure I'll read and enjoy them no matter what direction the creators choose!Number6
ParticipantMoreover, as we learned this past Monday, her violence-prone alt-personality is named Jessica . . . though I think it would have been too much of us to expect her (as a tip of the hat reference to the Savage She-Hulk, which is the obvious inspiration for the character) to have said Jennifer . . . 😉
I can't believe I blanked on that…I'd been thinking of her split-persona as imitating Two-Face all this time (although the super-strength wasn't definitively shown until the last episode or two). I suppose I might've caught on to the She-Hulk reference if she changed colors… :-

ParticipantWhile I was still fencing, I would go as Zorro. Now I don't have so much time (for fencing OR costumes), so I just wear only orange and black.
One day, I'll have to get some Converses and a black jacket with white trim so I can actually go as Patrick McGoohan (in the role that's the inspiration for my nick :D)Number6
ParticipantHeh, I wish she'd had this done before that season of Surreal Life where she and Janice Dickinson clashed…would've added more fuel to that fire!
The boobs look pretty good, I'd be slightly more willing to deal with her personality because of them.Number6
ParticipantHer muscles may not be huge, but she's gorgeous anyway! ;D

ParticipantAll good stuff; I particularly enjoyed the REALLY big elf, though. Wouldn't mind seeing the rest of her body sometime.

ParticipantI think it's worth noting that tonight's episode is the season finale, so it's going to be quite a while before any new episodes show up.
They went thru this season WAY too fast.

ParticipantLooks really good to me!
Then again, I'm biased…I've really liked all your work. 😉
Good to see you're still practising and refining your style, hope to see more of it in the future.Number6
ParticipantAll fine work! I particularly like the second one (superheroine) and the fourth one (waitress), though I can't pin down why. It could be the great muscular definition, the bare abs, or perhaps I just really like pictures of girls holding things above their heads. ;D
At any rate, keep up the good work! -
