SG-1 became the longest running science fiction series of all time. Running as long as it did, the characters became some of the best developed of any show on tv and the dynamics between the characters took on such an amazing rapport. I was quite unhappy with the loss of both Don Davis and Richard Dean Anderson but am a huge fan of Farscape so I was thrilled to have Ben Browder and Claudia Black on SG-1. I was disappointed that the writers were not keen enough to capitalize on the chemistry dynamics of Black and Browder. Instead they seemed determined to avoid it which was just plain foolish as was avoiding the chemistry of Michael Shanks and wife Lexa Doig who met on Andromeda.

I watched SGA and SGU too but my opinions on both are a bit more mixed. Of the SGU characters, I think the most interesting characters were Eli and Greer. I am certainly agreed that SGU did not feature Lt. Über Boober (in that overwhelmed t-shirt) more often, and Rhona Mitra was a treat too, but I absolutely hated that they killed off both Ginn (Julie McNiven) and Dr. Amanda Perry (Kathleen Munroe) not just once, but twice! Both women left me with my jaw agape every time. :woohoo:

As for the name change to Syfy, Leonard from The Big Bang Theory echoed my exact sentiments of “What the hell is Siffee??”. They just keep trying to alienate their core audience with stupid decisions one after another. “Syfy”, dumb “paranormal” reality shows, and WWE?!? WTF???

Basic etiquette in most forums including this one is you address the subject matter but not try to pick a fight with fellow forum members. It’s known as “flame baiting”. Considering that your membership here is mostly to promote your company, I’d expect that you would not want to get yourself banned.

I won’t be pulled into any kind of flaming. I just let the moderators handle things if they think a line has been crossed so consider this a polite “heads up”.

I created this thread because it is funny in a creepy sort of way and is an actual nationally running television commercial. Perhaps you are just trying to make a joke here but you and I do not know each other and there is no established rapport for such levity.

To be clear, its not really “before” pictures. Its pictures earlier in ffb careers where they already have significant muscle from several years of hardcore training, and then pictures years later where they are even bigger with ‘roid bloated abdomens.

ericca durance doesn’t have the muscle we all prefer but she is very good looking with great legs implants. should be a good show.

Just had to fix that typo. Lana Lang had super powers at the end of her run on Smallville too. And then lets not forget Laura Vandervort as Supergirl. Am I the only one that thinks Laura’s face looks a heck of a lot like what DCM tends to draw like with Satin Steele for example?

Hmm, go back far enough and Teri Hatcher’s Lois Lane also got Superman’s powers temporarily on Lois & Clark. And Teri’s boobs are real. Go back even farther and there is Helen Slater playing Supergirl in the 1984 film. Heck even back to Sarah Douglas playing Ursa (the female minion of General Zod) in the 1978 Superman movie. Remember the arm wrestling scene?

Of course this is more about me being a lifelong fan of the Superman icon than of the female characters that get to exhibit feats of strength. That said, I love all the constant hat tips Smallville makes to characters and lines from the past. This episode, Lois says “I workout”; a reference to the diner scene from the 1978 film. Incidentally while checking imdb to get my facts right, I discovered that Terrance Stamp who is the voice of Zor El in Smallville played General Zod in the 1978 film.

I’ve heard this one before. I’ll believe it when I have something more tangible than the “word” of politicians. Namely I want pictures, video, and believable DNA evidence. I also want to see pictures of the “mansion like” compound where he was allegedly staying.

Last of all, if it truly IS him, I want his corpse to be preserved until it can be anally skewered by the spire of the newly constructed Freedom Tower …no, scratch that… Twin Towers II when construction is completed.

I WANT MY FUCKING SKYLINE BACK!!!

If you have a backup of Windows Complete then uninstall it and then immediately install AVG Free Antivirus. Update the database and run a complete AVG scan as soon as you install it. Then install Malwarebytes which is a free malicious software scanner. Update the database and run a complete scan with that as soon as you install it. Finally, you can install Spybot Search & Destroy which is another free malicious software scanner. Also install “Tea Timer” which is an install option that monitors all future installs. Update the database and run a complete scan with Spybot as soon as you install it.

All three of these programs have different strengths and will look for different things. Between the three, they should catch most anything you might have.

Get all 3 downloads from a friend’s computer or work. Save the installs to a USB Zip drive. Do not plug in any zip drive that has been in your infected computer or you could spread the infection to other computers. If that means spending $10 to buy a new zip drive, then do so.

If these steps do not fix the problem, you may need to bring your computer to a local PC Repair shop capable of diagnosing and removing infections at a more advanced level. Be certain that they do not charge you for services unless they successfully remove the infection(s). Get that in writing too. There’s no sense paying good money for an unresolved problem.
