Wow on timing of this post. I think Riece has had the first 4 episodes up for about a week or two. I only visited the site yesterday to watch it and then made my first post. Now only a day later they have posted release dates for 6 more episodes.

Well fortunately the whole Stargate franchise is enormous and has a significant fanbase. The avenues of distribution are always changing. The dilemma is less so in the changing than it is in the sheer number of options for distribution since each avenue entails production and marketing costs. They need to figure out how to get the best return on their investment.

I vote Hulu as one avenue since for the moment they have figured out 3 key advantages. They have figured out how to block flash downloads, that lets them force commercials on us that we cannot fast-forward through, and they can leave stuff up as long as they want.

Browsing through imdb, I stumbled on a picture of a very pretty blonde with actor Esai Morales. His name is in the caption but hers is not. I’m thinking she might be an actress and that I should know her, but that is only a feeling.

Since she isn’t muscular, this doesn’t belong in the Whos that musclebabe thread. So this seemed as good a place to put it as any.

Does anyone know who she is?

Ditto. Me Neither. Mindy looks all around different, is much more muscular, and started young which means this could not be an earlier picture.

Something about her arm looks off too. Like it’s been photoshopped. My first thought was that its a frankensteined pic. But then her fist and back (muscle thru mesh) made me reconsider. But the bicep does not appear countered by the tricep and the tricep is small by comparison. Also, the forearm looks blurry and smudged.

This is something I’ve been wrestling with to myself and it finally boiled over enough to verbalize it. I feel really unresolved still, but am trying to think it through. Feedback often helps.

I know that there are some people that will take their negative energy and channel it into physical activity. That works for them and must be awesome that they can do that. I know that I did a variation of that a long time ago that whenever I was feeling pooped for no good reason, instead of plopping down doing nothing, I used the same time I’d have spent retreating to go to the gym.

Most of the time it helped, but I also had my motivation then too.

Right now I’m in several states of transition with different things happening in my life and already feel like my plate is too full.

In a way, I know the gym I have to go to here was something I looked forward to at a point. I did not view it as a chore, but as an escape.

That’s really how I felt about it. Positive. Not as a positive spin, because there was no spin there. It was a positive experience because I could feel proud of myself for what I put into it, and I enjoyed the people.

Hm… well wonders never cease I guess. Thinking things through and putting things to words still surprises me in what can come from it. That was very encouraging right there.

Ok, well this is not only a good start, but it falls within the premise of having internal motivators rather than external.

I don’t think I’m done with this yet, but it just took a 180 degree turn for the better. Now if I can just amp that up enough to capitalize on it.

I have people to workout with. I have never liked using reasons outside of yourself as reasons for motivation, but it seems like that is part of it in this case.

By reasons outside of yourself, I mean like I had a g/f that quit smoking for me. I insisted that she shouldn’t be quitting for me but for herself. Doing it for herself she was more likely to stick with it long term.

So by the same token, I *should* have enough motivation from internal reasons. Need to shake loose this apathy.

So I’ve not been active here in a pretty long time. Lingster completely revamped the whole site since my last participation.

I wanted to identify an actress (done), and naturally looked at other stuff, some which was already on my radar like Brittany Beede.

Prior to posting my actress question, I looked through the “Who’s this Musclebabe” thread and stumbled upon several mentions of MzDevious.

I did a search and found a thread dedicated to her at Unrealmuscle’s forum and have been slowly working my way through it. I’ve made it as far as page 10 out of what appears to be 12?

Anyhow, she’s super hot, and apparently tiny, like 4’10”. She’s into some things that I’ve no knowledge or interest in like femdom and seems to write rather harsh sounding profiles, but then she has posts in the thread where she comes across as likable and humorous.

I came across 2 things that made me laugh…

“in my second life I wish to be tall enough to not have to scale the shelves at the supermarket like spiderman so that I may reach the green beans.”

That I can relate to though not to the same extreme. And…

“as for the ball kicking.. us ladies do not get it either. but man is there a demand for those clips ,and it’s kinda fun , cause no matter how hard you kick, he is super happy.”

As creeped out as I should be, the way she phrased it with the “he is super happy” instead made me laugh. Actually, it’s still making me laugh.

Ok, so I wouldn’t even know about her if not for it severely overlapping my Tivo recordings of Warehouse 13.

As far as I know (and PLEASE correct me if I am wrong), Brittany has not had any media exposure prior to WWE or FCW as say a fitness or figure competitor or model. Celeste has, but now that Brittany’s Diva run is apparently over, I am concerned that we may never see more of her. Now I’m not complaining that they still have Celeste. Both of them had my attention, but I definitely favored Brittany.

I really hope we get to see more of Brittany Beede whether it be in wrestling or in fitness/figure. What a waste it would be.

Let’s go back to the wiki article.

Look at the cast list and how many females are listed on there? Now let’s look at IMDB:

Let’s click on VIEW FULL CAST LIST.

Almost every single female actress on that list has a headshot posted in that profile. Do you see ANY women on that list that look like the photograph we’re comparing to? I looked at the list very carefully and not one of the women listed besides Betsy Russell matches the description.

Also I use Windows Magnifier to get a closer look at the photos, they are practically identical. We know that the woman is not an Extra is the movie, why? Because extra’s never get close ups of their face. So this woman has to be a principal or supporting role.

Now, I’m not trying to brush off your knowledge of female muscle, but I will tell you that the arms in the comparison photo and the ones on wiki CAN be the same exact arms.

Do not mistake a camera close up to give the illusion of muscle. A good example of this is the horrible movie Anaconda’s 2 which made it seem like the blonde woman character had biceps, when in reality it was just the camera catching a flex.

Also do not forget that they images could be touched up either as a still in photoshop, or for the movie itself. It is obviously not impossible to ‘touch up’ certain scenes to make a character look a bit more in shape than they actually are.

OR an even more likely scenario.

It is also entirely possible that they used a body double and put Betsy’s head over the body double.

I color correct the image, added some brightness, and removed the green. Tell me that is not Betsy.

Now, there could be hundreds of reasons why her arms look muscular. Either she decided to lift some weights knowing she was going to be in 3d, or she got body doubles. EITHER WAY… there is no denying that the woman in this photo is Betsy Russell.

Can’t give you much more proof than that.

Considering that in wiki she is listed as Jigsaw’s Ex-Wife and they’re using that photo for promotional reasons. All signs point to that person being a principal character and not a supporting character. Like I said before, movies will never use a still of an Extra for their promotional items.

The photo is current and while the arm appears much the same physical size as a photo above it from 2008, there is a clear difference in muscle tone and her bf% is lower which means more of the size is muscle than fat.

I found some other photos that also appeared to be current and in support, but this was the only one with a date. I would have liked to see some current photos with her in a state of flex, but the video the screen capture is from is probably all I can hope for.

Now on to a few points I can’t resist countering 😛 …

You mention “illusion of muscle”. Seriously? Look at the picture again “dude”.

I took the screen capture myself from one of the trailers on youtube. I did not photoshop it, not even to color correct it (thanks for doing that). My PC with photoshop on it has been down for the past month till I get around to getting a new video card for it.

She is clearly tugging at the chains resulting in a flex of Isometric contraction.

The body double idea doesn’t add up. Popular media still generally frowns on femuscle.

I looked up Anacondas 2 aka Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid. Ironic that the cast included Salli Richardson-Whitfield who is known to be muscular, particularly after that scene she had in Eureka showing off her abdominals.
