phenomsParticipantTo a certain etent, I'm the same when it comes to faces. I could give you a list right now of FBBers whose bodies make me drool, but then I see the large noses, square jaws and bad skin and the attraction reduces for me.
Would it not be a shorter list to instead do the FBBers whose faces you find most attractive (with a body to match)?
I will say, though, that I think singling-out Lenda Murray is a little unfair because she's not, IMO the most prominent example. Half of the recent years' Ms O line-up hs been just as bad, unfortunately.
I think either you read it wrong or took it out of context. Perhaps if you re-read it on it's own…
I have had the misfortune to encounter a person who's face resembled Lenda Murray yet is one of the most objectionable "C words" I have ever met. BTW, I hate that word. I reserve it only for the worst of the worst. Now, I am no longer able to find Lenda attractive as I once did because of the unfortunate association I make because of similar facial characteristics.
Or to reorder it in a more chronological bullet point type flow…
- I once considered Lenda Murray attractive (face too).
- A few years ago I met someone with similar facial characteristics.
- That person was NOT Lenda.
- That person IS a "C word". (Read: Rotten person.)
- I later realized the faces were similar.
- Because I am so repulsed by this person with a face similar to Lenda, I can no longer look at a picture of Lenda without ALSO thinking of the rotten person.
- Being reminded of the rotten person every time I look at a picture of Lenda spoils any potential enjoyment of Lenda's picture.
- While Lenda is a different person from the rotten one, that does not change the fact that I can no longer enjoy Lenda's picture.
- Being reminded of the rotten person while looking at a picture of Lenda means I have unintentionally associated Lenda with the rotten person.
- Since the rotten person repulses me, repulsion has become associated with Lenda.
- It sucks that I have come to experience the same repulsion when looking at a picture of Lenda.
- Sucks.
- Sucks I say!
- You misunderstood me the first time.
- I have now officially beat this into a proverbial "dead horse".
Oy vey.

phenomsParticipantI just discovered a new celeb to add to the list. "Kristan Cunningham" who is the host and lead designer of HGTV’s "Design on a Dime" show.
I Tivo'd their "Top 35 Secrets" show and did not even make it all the way thru the show before I had to pop-in to add her to the list. Every time they wide-angle her bod, I'm pausing and rewinding… it's really quite pathetic actually. ;D
Well then I saw her bare arms and eureka! She's a "gym bod"! Not heavily muscled, but toned, low bf%, and more muscle than most women her size and shape.
Her web site gallery even had a photo with her flexing a bicep. Have a look…

Yeah, in person, I'd SO jump her! ;D *drool*

phenomsParticipantI dared suppose that her womanly shape (as opposed to her "physique"/ muscularity) might have more than a little bit to do with her attractiveness to you.
I always say "For me, physical attraction begins, and ends with the face." So first and foremost, her face simply floors me.
And while I cannot disagree with the hourglass idea, I have noticed that when comparing different physiques in a "Ginger vs Mary-Ann" contest that I am not consistently drawn to an hourglass figure. It always comes down to the total package… and begins and ends with the face.
Granted, for a picture, the "bag over her head" argument holds for me when the body is insanely nice, but in real life, well, ehem… no. Have I mentioned about my thing for faces yet?
Also, the "Hourglass" thing tends to be associated with a certain waist-to-hip ratio thing. I tend to think more in terms of the waist either being especially tiny, or shapely (think Lisa Hourin pictured below).
Sindia has that same "tiny AND shapely" waist thing going much as Hourin does.
Lastly, there is always a big difference between a photo and real life. We can get a little biased here dealing so much in photos as we do. At some point, I began paying attention to the differences between the photos I liked as compared to what I found myself liking in person. Interestingly, I found I flip flop. That is, because I am looking at the total package (and because in person I am also reacting to personality) that sometimes I am less knit-picky in person, sometimes I am less knit-picky with a photo.

phenomsParticipantOK, you got me – what I meant was that I don't go especially for one height rather than another, I base my feelings on the overall picture. 8)
As do I, but typically you will find height to be linked to other physical characteristics. Annnd, for me, part of the overall picture of a physical attraction includes height… or the lack thereof since I like petite.
(And I also include personality and character. But then this site isn't known as Pers0nality.com.)

I see.
Remind me, Cindy Phillips (subject of your avatar) is how tall again? 8)

phenomsParticipantthe original applegate flex pic can be seen here at celebflex yahoo group.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Celebflex/?yguid=154795859Bravo!!! And thank you! Aside from being relevant to this thread, I've been wanting to find that pic again since having lost it to a Windows OS failure (from which I still have a hard drive with un-recovered files).
To say that Christina Applegate or Jean Louisa Kelly (Yes, Dear) are muscular is IMHO reaching pretty far out there and therefore a loose interpretation of the term.
Original, unaltered version…

Scott, still think Applegate has no muscles? ;D

phenomsParticipantWhile his Deviant account mostly showcases his manga art, it is his pinup girl art that I find so sensational.
See my old forum post for a sample pic. The link is in my opening post.
While by the typical standards of this forum mostly tend to lean towards lots of muscle mass, I wish to remind everyone of the difference between a picture on a computer screen and a real life encounter. In a real life encounter, you are likely to habitually spot hints of muscle and muscle tone in many forms and many degrees of mass.
That said, his pinup girls depict exaggerated versions of the physique I am most attracted to in real encounters. The very petite, fit and toned or muscular. Actual females typically standing between 4'10" and 5'3", with ecto-ecto, ecto-meso, meso-ecto, or meso-meso (morphic) physiques, slender, very trim, fit, and toned. Sometimes muscular, which bear in mind, the smaller they are, the less muscle they need to add to "appear" muscular. (Hence when they do add muscle, it is all the more imposing.)
Plus, the pinup art in my opinion shows a style more uniquely his own than does his manga art. And it is that unique style which really makes him an artist very much worth paying attention to. Simply put, his art is superb.

Then you are sorely misinformed about their physiques. I personally did a photo manip of Christina Applegate many years ago back on WreckShop's message board. When I posted the manip, I also posted the unaltered original. Frenchman had found a pic of Christina doing a very impressive bicep flex. Her (unaltered) flex was easily larger than many of today's figure competitors. If I still had that photo, I would gladly repost it. Jean Louisa Kelly is easily on par if not exceeding the muscularity of Applegate.[/quote]
I'll be darned! I was looking though my old posts and came upon that Applegate manip I mentioned!
Here: http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,1562.msg12217/#msg12217
Now if I could only locate the unaltered original! Seems I was wrong about the source being Frenchman. Apparently it came from Boomer.

Then you haven't viewed any of the galleries I linked to.
