No disrespect to phenoms, but I'm inclined to agree.  When I said that I looked them up, I meant that I searched a well-known search engine for the term, because, naive chap that I am, I had no idea what phenoms was talking about.  I must confess I too would prefer to keep things on-topic.

    😀

Yes, I certainly threw a curve ball this time.

All kidding aside, it's a good video. Cindy in is terrific condition at the time it was shot and is wearing a very flattering outfit.

    Well, I didn't know what they were, so I looked them up… :-[ 😮 ;D 😉

Grasshopper, when you can snatch the Ben Wa's from Cindy's…

    What?!?

    Palm!!!

    I was gonna say palm!!!

I'm sure it's a part of her suit, but it does look very like the picture I saw; and, I must say, the thought is one hell of a turn-on. 8)

Well they aren't Tootsie Pops, but you're welcome to lick them all you like.  :-X
(I'll give you a hint, they already reached the "bottom".)

Hmmm… come to think of it, they do go "pop".

I have never once thought of Pamela Anderson as muscular.  Is she shapely, yes, did she make men drool, yes, but I have never once seen a bicep of any discernable size on her arm.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but was surfing You Tube and honestly came across the two videos above by coincidence. Both show an extremely hard bicep. Not huge, but easily on par with other celebs listed here who's muscularity was not questioned… and (*kick*) to reiterate, on par with many figure competitors and amateur fbb's.

Well I'm sure to get my butt kicked for this post, but I just saw a great video of Cindy on You Tube. The trouble is, I couldn't help but to notice that she has something dangling from her booty. The video quality was simply not good enough for me to tell what it might be. I'm torn between thinking it's something innocent like part of an unseen posing suit versus allowing my sense of humor to reign and drag my mind down into the gutter. Well if you noticed my renaming of the post's title, you already know my sense of humor won.  ::)

    Anyhow, look for yourselves…

Phenom, you obviously feel I have made a personal attack on you.  I did not intend to and I am sorry if you feel that it was.  I simply feel that the word muscular has been "thrown around" a bit loosly.  You and I are allowed to disagree on this matter.

No, I did not feel attacked on a personal level. (Annoyed, yes, but not attacked.) I am careful to avoid getting caught up in personal bickering. Debating points however are fair game. If you cite something I have posted I would expect that you would be prepared for me to respond, as I would expect anyone else on this board to do if I cited something they posted.

Before writing this response, I went back and reread what I wrote. In that response, and in this one too, I responded to your points with fact, and reason. I provided examples, kept my assertions within that which I knew with confidence to be true and correct, and I thought through what I wanted to say. At worst, I employed some sarcastic humor, and when writing in a serious tone, my style of writing is often seen as cold. I instead consider it to be an effort towards precision and accuracy.

By all means we are allowed to disagree. You disagreed with me, and I disagreed right back. Were this not a thread about celebrities none of this would have come up in the first place. But you are applying a standard to the celebrities which is in my opinion, not realistic and not relevant to the thread. If this thread was about female athletes instead and someone began talking about some college track athlete with no discernible muscle size or tone I would be among the first in line to agree with you if you thought she did not deserve mention.

Message boards work on the principle of discussing things relevant to the subject and title of a thread within that thread and of creating separate threads to talk about other matters. I feel I have stayed relevant to the thread, and feel you are operating under expectations not appropriate to this particular thread.

I spent a good amount of time on my initial post. I had a criteria that I stuck to and within reason, I tried to cite photos or videos for those that were either lesser known or likely to be contested. (Such as Blalock who atrophied much of her muscle, likely at the insistence of the producers.) When you put in effort that way, yeah, its kind of annoying when people criticize without first getting their facts straight or stray from the context of the thread. Annoyance makes for good fuel when writing a rebuttal in a debate.  😀

I hope this has provided some clarification, I have no desire to bicker or flame with you, I just happen to disagree with you, and see no problem in debating to that end. Cool?  ::)

PS – It's "phenoms" with an "S", not "phenom". I must say, I was deeply hurt and offended by such an egregious and unthinkable…. ok not really. lol But it is fun having an excuse to use the word "egregious".  😉

Oh darn, there I go being unclear again. By "not really", I mean that I wasn't really offended, not that phenoms does not really have an "S" at the end. Cause it does have an "S" on the end… umm I mean phenoms has an "S" on the end, and not that "it" has an "S" on the end. Then "it" wouldn't be "it", it would be "its" and that might then lead to confusion as to whether or not "its" should be "its" or "it's". Oh dear.

    Semantics is our friend.  ;D

Sorry phenoms; in trying to keep my response to ScottG's posting concise, I was unclear.  My agreement was with his central point that, as you showed with the Trachtenberg photo, lean isn't always muscular.  I'm not saying that any of the wome in this thread shouldn't be here (I'll look back through it and post again after I've done so), though I find Tompkinson's arms off-putting (biceps should be full and rounded, not like bits of rope under the skin).  I'm also a bit surprised at your insistence that she is obviously lying about not liking her physique – are you a psychiatrist?

First, thank you for both the clarification, and for collecting your thoughts and checking your facts. I think I must have a pet peeve when it comes to "knee jerk" responses.

As for my assertion that Tompkinson is being dishonest, I should have phrased it in such a manner as to reflect that it is my opinion. (Though even if I were a professional in the mental health sector, it would still only be an opinion.) It is an experientially based opinion. While I could be wrong, I doubt that I am. The "actions speak louder than words" bit does wonders for seeing through falsehoods. Some people say what they think others want to hear. Some do it so often, they start believing their own falsehoods. That has been something I have observed with alarming frequency and consistency.

    mus·cu·lar [muhs-kyuh-ler]
    1. Of, relating to, or consisting of muscle: muscular contraction.
    2. Having well-developed muscles: a muscular build.

I agree.  Muscular is not the same as lean.

The word lean refers only to an absence of body fat. Again, as I pointed out in my example of Keira Knightly's abs, an absence of body fat does not by itself lead to muscle definition. There must be muscle tone, and that requires muscle conditioning. A good example of an actress that is lean, but not muscular is Michelle Trachtenberg in Eurotrip.

    Lean, not muscular.

    "Defined".

A result attained through a low percentage of body fat and through muscle tone which can only be achieved though conditioning of the muscles. That is what I stated at the beginning of this post as to the criteria that qualified all those named so far. It seems your final point only served to reinforce my first point.

Gentlemen, I have a novel idea, how about instead of hasty criticisms, perhaps instead, show some gratitude for a substantial list of names which is precisely the objective of this thread. And if this thread so offends your sensibilities, perhaps you simply should avoid reading it.

Maria Ford. I've never heard nor seen her before.

Like I said, Maria Ford is a B-Movie actress. I am only aware of her because of that Muscle & Fitness magazine cover she was on… naturally I bought that issue because she's hot.

You can view her Filmography to see what movies she has been in at imdb here: http://imdb.com/name/nm0285768/

To my knowledge, I have never personally seen her in anything.

I ran a search on you tube and found the following clips…
