ParticipantI think it's very easy for stories to polarise into two categories… Stories that simply happen to have FMG in them and stories that are purely about FMG… (actually – that's true for all FTF stories, really).
You managed to write a piece that was happily in between, involving FMG but not JUST FMG… Compelling is about right… but I doubt that any praise I offer will be comparable to Pixxxie smoking a cigarette.
Even though, smoking is bad m'okay.

ParticipantI'm almost entirely certain you're describing Hunter S. Creek's sublime "Compound Interest", which may be the most awesome FMG/growth/BE story ever.

ParticipantSocialite waste of space Tara Palmer Tompkinson is looking veiny in the arms…

ParticipantThere can be no school boy error greater than invoking the wrath of Deadly Pixxxie…
To be honest, that kind of mistake isn't surprising from someone asking "Duh, what's wrong with piracy." It's stealing and last time I checked, pretty much every society, religion and culture of size dubbed that as "bad". You may not be going into a shop and stuffing DVDs up your jumper but you seem to be living in some magical fantasy world where paying is a choice.
You bragged about not paying for things… were you expecting people to slap you on the back and go "Wow, you've got the skillz to stick words into a torrent site!"?
In short, the reason people are flaying you is because even if your actions aren't directly affecting people here… they have indirect consequences… and because you're the kind of "gimme, gimme, gimme" type of person that the greater transformation community has to suffer, who'd rather thieve copies of paid work or wait for a company to go broke before handing over a penny – which (as Pixxxie says) means less content for everyone.
And quite frankly, if you don't know why Lingster might find your comments unfavourable… you probably might want to start hoping you never have to find out.

ParticipantYou know, MagnusMagneto… I'm not really sure even your weasel worded way of saying "I'm a pirate fiddly deedee, screw copyright I get my stuff free!" will spare you Lingster's ire should he spy your post.
As to my own answer – yes, I have and do pay for material that is of good quality.

ParticipantDA are a fucking joke, they have a hugely inconsistent application of their T&C… and from the sounds of it, they didn't even know if you were breaking them – which isn't exactly encouraging.
To be honest, quite why you'd be on a site called deviant art and be surprised that there's weird stuff on there is beyond me… Presumably DA are just scared that one day someone is going to sue them.

ParticipantWhile that was humorous, it wasn't a commentary on American judiciary… for some reason or another they changed her backstory (in both cases it was a single line)… and despite some people arguing that she might have been ANOTHER she-hulk – it was Exiles, after all – I'm afraid my response to that is, no dice. Given that she knew Deadpool and recalled falling into the negative zone… anyway, I assume – as usual – the writer didn't care enough to check the backstory… It doesn't really make a huge amount of sense for a judge to be on the "bad guy" team… although, I suppose she did demonstrate a great deal of amoral pragmatism… which was what Weapon X required.
To conclude – to maintain some semblance of brevity – her personality seemed unchanged despite going from petty crook/villain to judge… Shame she didn't join the team, really.
Prophet Tenebrae
ParticipantI can think of a few What Ifs where she was alive… She survived in Exiles… although, she went from a mob accountant to a Texas judge… although, apparently – there isn't a great deal of difference.

ParticipantYes… He's captain of the Apollo in Stargate Atlantis. The chat show still going? That's more improbable than his acting career…

ParticipantWhy? We haven't even had a grey one yet… well, not properly. A pseudo-dream sequence in Sensational shouldn't count…
And given that Jen isn't mentally unstable, it would probably make sense for it to be another person… BETTY ROSS! Ahem.
Nice picture, got to love that hair.
