Competitive isn't hugely common… it's one of those somewhat overlooked subgenres of growth fetishes… in that, there are stories but never really proportional to the interest shown.

Bottom line, I can recall a few but I couldn't name names.

That's how documentaries are made these day, old chap.

People don't engage in fact finding – they start with the opinion "FBBs are in some way defective individuals" and then build a case to substantiate it. Which is – as it turns out – a lot easier than actually making a balanced and insightful piece. Also, tends to be rather more popular. People are scared by a lack of knee jerk/shock documentaries… because then they aren't sure what they're being told to be afraid of.

In conclusion – people are rubbish and TV executives like to exploit that.

I can't say I'm one of the "I hate PAD" crowd, I rather liked his run and I'm sorry to see him get cancelled. If anything, I got considerably more enjoyment out of it with him at the helm than I did with Dan but then, I rather think that there are probably as many opinions on what would constitute a good She-Hulk comic as there are fans.

Which is one of the reasons Spider Girl has managed to soldier on despite a similarly sized fanbase… well, minus the recent tell I hear of cancellation but… you know what I mean.

Eegore's site going offline when I least expected it reinforced what I had always thought.
