Wow, she's cute. Thanks for sharing it with us.
raylightParticipantApologies for the double post, but I must say this:
How much do you want to bet that Lingster's working on screencapping this? XD
raylightParticipantAh . . . so I was beaten to the punch. Damn, for once I was hoping to be the first to something for a change.
Ah, well. No biggie.
raylightParticipantI think there's some unwritten rule that reposts of stories that feature underage characters are acceptable but brand-new ones are not. I know for one that Lingster has done such stories in the past (Will's Power, anyone?).
Both stories were going to have their sexual moments removed, but if they still aren't acceptable, then they're not and I'm not going to fight it out. I might still post the "high school" one someday by aging the characters (thus making them acceptable), but I'll probably will only write fresh material at first (which I am . . . though college and other responsibilities are interfering).
raylightParticipantOh wow, no matter which one of these scenarios comes true, it is worse than I envisioned. And it definitely shows how dangerous domestic violence is to any woman, especially when a strong woman like Savell could have been overpowered by a man (unless it was a third party doing a "rubout").
Is it wrong that when I found out she died that I hoped she had died in her sleep peacefully?
raylightParticipantOh wow . . . just like Heath Ledger.
My condolences (whatever they're worth) to all of her family and friends.
raylightParticipantI see somebody's been paying attention to Peter David's quotes. ::)
Heh, it's still funny, though.
raylightParticipantIt's not letting me see it . . .
raylightParticipantI personally tend to prefer more sweeter, demure voices, but I don't mind huskier ones as long as they stay feminine. Gina Davis is a good example of a deeper voice that still sounds feminine.
Part of the reason why people freak out and scream "MEN" is because of the stereotypical destroyed/steroid-influenced voice of the female bodybuilder. While it's wrong to dismiss them just because of that, I am not exactly attracted to cracking, gender-neutral voices (Britt Miller disappointingly sounded like that). It just doesn't sound natural.
raylightParticipant(The final product WILL include sound effects; and I'm PRAYING I can get voice actresses to breathe life to these characters that are so very dear to me.)
The two best places to get VAs to my knowledge are . . .
The Voice Acting Alliance and the Voice Acting Club. Out of the two, the Club is friendlier to original material and seems to have a more professional organization. However, I am not sure whether your material would fly with the admins or the amateur actors/actresses. You might want to make a more "mainstream" production first and get people to trust you a bit before presenting this one if you go that route.
I really hope this works out for you.
