Only 5'6"?  Wow, she looks taller.

She would be a good choice.  Unfortunately, the chance of actually getting that movie made are looking slimmer and grimmer by the day.  My writing partner Joel (who actually lives in LA) has been making inquiries, and keeps getting back the opinion that this script would cost much too much (for special effects) for an indie filmmaker or small studio.

There isn't an actual role of "Thyvalla's mother", but there are ways Hannie could be included in the cast.  It would be fitting, since she's the whole inspiration for Last Ride of the Valkyrie.

Never say never though! What with digital tools becoming more powerful, while simultaneously becoming easier to use, the landscape is definitely changing. Zbrush is a great example of this. It's only $600, and it was used to help generate some of the most sophisticated special effects of our time by traditional artists with little 3D experience: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=079195

Also, check out what a small team are doing with the open-source 3D tool Blender, as part of the Durian open-movie project.

Oh yeah, just so I'm not completely off-topic, Skadi Frei is a Goddess!

Perhaps taking requests or commissions might help you feel good about creating art again. I often find that when I'm just creating for myself, I can lose motivation, so it's fun to collaborate with someone else and inspire each other. However, it can work both ways, and after doing jobs for others for a while, I eventually start to feel the need to want to create just for myself again.

There's also lots of different aspects to drawing, so if I'm getting frustrated with the creative side, I might spend some time improving my technical skills, by drawing from photographs, or playing around with new software, etc.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I believe it's natural for these things to happen in cycles. Instead of trying to fight the block or slump, go with it and use it to push onto a different creative area. You might find that you'll rediscover what first attracted you to drawing in the first place!

    Hi Annie, bye Annie! 😀

Man, I'm going to have to join MuscleAngles at this rate, unless Alina is able to put up some of the material on her own site, that is.

Anyway, some of you may remember this ancient 20th century technology called DVD. GMV just put out this new Alina DVD that completely caught me by surprise:

It looks really cool. I just hop it won't take too long to arrive over the holiday season.

Some of these are really good, Essey.

I remember a few years ago, another artist was stuffing around with Poser and posting the results. Some were good, others not so much. As his skill level went up, though, he was soon pushing Poser to its limits and creating some images that most people could not believe were created by such a "simple" program. He now has his own successful pay-site for posting his Poser creations. Of course I'm talking about the great Tigersan.

In other words, keep it up as you don't know where it might lead.

I have a soft spot for FBBers of Tomoko's size. More muscular than a figure competitor, but not ultra huge like a pro female bodybuilder. It's a shame that they have to choose between losing muscle or gaining muscle to compete at the pro level.

Wow, incredible. She looks like she would be perfect for DCM's "Last Ride of the Valkyrie" movie, and since Hannie is back, she could play her mother.

I dunno, it almost seems like she's heading down the ultra skinny path, like Sarah Jessica Parker, where the muscle is visible, not because it's well developed, but because there's very little body fat.

Wow, all those updates in December are going to kick ass! By the way, Carlos is a great find! His style reminds me a bit of a cross between Sergio and CST.

I didn't think I would like the Super-Heavy class as much as the others, but Mi-Ran making that huge jump in weight to break the World Record in front of her home crowd was really inspirational.

What a pleasant surprise! The forum really was a brighter place with you here, so it's great to have you back. And Mimi, when it comes to manga-style female muscle artwork, Mikazuki is one of the best, as you'll no doubt see.
