ParticipantLove the 80s hair and makeup on Beth! As for her casting, is it a coincidence that she works for NBC and NBC own the rights to Quantum Leap? Maybe the producers of this fan-film did a deal, so NBC would get some cross-promotion out of it.

ParticipantI wonder then, why don't we have female bodybuilder contests featuring a softer, bulkier more sensual off-season shapes?
Who decided that female bodybuilders should only compete when they have 2% body fat and silicon enhanced boobs?
I really don't get it. I think that if they created a female bodybuilding competition based on beauty and sensuality , if it would be much more popular and mainstream then the ones we have today. And plenty more women would want to compete in them.
It's a tough one. The problem is that if they don't have the low level of body fat you can't judge the muscular definition. Also, it's easier too build muscle without losing fat, so it would take some of the competition out of it. What you're talking about is buff beauty contest, which would be great, but not really bodybuilding.

ParticipantHm guys ..i m lost ..how i post pics here?
Hi Elena,
Wow, are you ready to post already? I thought we would have to wait until the new year.
The easiest way is to click on "Additional Options…" just below the message window and browse for the pictures you want to post. The pictures will then appear as clickable thumbnails at the bottom of your message.
A lot of people on here also host their images on an external site like ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.us). It generates the code you need for a nice thumbnail link, and all you have to do is paste into your message.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like it would be something of an Amaz0ns exclusive. That would be really cool! I'd better go and warn Lingster that he's going to have a server crash. ;D

ParticipantThank you for taking the time to talk to your fans like this. It actually doesn't happen that often, so it's extra special when it does! 😮
So, when will we see you on stage again, do you think, and do you have any travel plans for the next year? Also, can you see any opportunities for yourself in the mainstream media in the future? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but, like I said, this doesn't happen that often. 🙂

A beautiful woman, an amazing bodybuilder, and a wonderful person. It's official, you're perfect! Not that'll stop you from trying to get better though! 😉
Reason
ParticipantThank you both AlexG and cpbell for sharing your obviously vast knowledge on the subject.
Again due to the variation from person to person, I've read that some women naturally have higher than average levels of testosterone. I wonder what effect that has on the ability for a woman to naturally build muscle.
Also, whenever I see a woman with massively developed calf muscles but with otherwise average muscularity, I wonder whether she's only just genetically predisposed to having good calf development or whether her other body parts would quickly catch up if she started weight training.
… Guys such as our wn AlexG who BB naturally are
1. Comitted and incredibly hard-working
and
2. Are genetically predisposed to building large muscles.
And don't forget gals like our own Ashlee ;). Unfortunately for women there's 3. as well:
3. Be willing to go against the social convention that women should not be muscular. It broke my heart when I heard Brooke Shields saying recently on David Letterman, "I can't do any sort of weight-training or else I would turn into the hulk…". Man, what a waste of amazing muscle-building genes.
Reason
ParticipantThat is my line of thinking exactly. I mean, I'm average in height for a man and I often come across women who are significantly taller than me, even though the average woman is most likely always going to be shorter than the average man. It makes sense that the same could be true with muscularity, and perhaps athletes like Elena are proof of that, no matter how rare they are.
