Wow, superb work! I too was completely clueless that it was an alteration. What's more, it looks like you're not very far away from being able to do an artwork of this quality from scratch.

Guys, take it easy. I've talked with the guy at LHart about this (some color works I did were there too) and he answered me that people mail him the stuff. He doesn't actually "surf the net" for the stuff.
LHArt has being arround for quite some time, and they are serious business. Let's not compare them with some low life Forums that are around there.

Sorry, but I think that "someone mailed it to me" excuse is pretty weak. If someone mailed me LH Art's entire set of PDF stories, do you think LH would then be cool with me posting them all on my own membership site and sell them as my own? Just because LH receives a an illustration via email doesn't excuse him from the responsibility of finding out who the copyright holder is and obtaining permission to repost it. It's really not that hard to do, especially when it's signed by the artist. If he can't find out who the artist is, then he shouldn't post it, it's that simple.

What, is this a joke? Since when did production companies make decisions based on forum discussion and emails? No production can please everyone, and offend no one, so why the hell would you try?

What's with you, Ozzy? There is a big silence…

Hopefully Ozzy is beavering away on some killer artwork that we can see via LHArt. I'm hoping he'll make the cut for the November update, otherwise we'll be going at least another month without any new art from him.

LH has stuff they sell that they have no rights on. They just take it from yahoo. Fact. They are worried about people stealing meanwhile.

This doesn't surprise me, as I often see artwork posted in the gallery section of LHArt that has already been posted by the actual artist here or on DeviantArt. Sure, he could have got permission from each individual copyright holder to repost their artwork, but when Hunter S Creek caught him on one, he admitted to putting up random artwork he receives via email. Well, the answer is pretty simple, if the email sender can't prove he is the copyright holder, then don't accept it. If this goes on, we should really start putting pressure on him to do the right thing. If you make money from someone's time and effort, it's only fair and decent that they get their share.

Actually, that reminds me, I've seen some of your work on LHArt, Solarian. I take it you are aware of this since you are also a member. Did LHArt pay you paid for this, or at least offer you a membership discount?

Yeah, I'm totally with you draw4wild. I mean websites like FemFlex and FTVideo have access to the girls and the equipment, so why not throw an interesting script into the mix and see what happens? A movie would be great, but even a series of short webisodes would be something. FTVideo has at least started doing a comic strip, which is definitely a step in the right direction. Also, Awefilms have done some great productions in the past which they are slowly releasing on DVD.

My only other advice to you would be, have you considered making your own movie? It's just that now more than ever the technology is available to allow anyone to make a movie on the cheap.

Interesting that you should ask this. Maybe you should check this out Reason.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16aBNduAyQ4 (Sums it up pretty nicely.)

Oh, and in case you haven't been listening to happenings in the blogosphere, you might also be interested in this which is a CURRENT Lawsuit asking Obama to file a VAULTED copy of his birth certificate (not a digital copy posted online.) It's interesting that the DNC has filed a counter suit to DROP the case.

Now, why would the DNC spend thousands of dollars paying attorneys and filing a counter suit when they could simply go to Hawaii and spend $30 bucks for a vaulted copy of his birth certificate?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyspCRmJv7w

Doesn't make much sense.

Oh, and lets not mention Obama's 20 year relationship with Reverend Wright, his ties to William Ayers, or the DNC's current use of ACORN to steal the election in Ohio, parts of Missouri, and over 4,000 dead people registered to vote on the voter rolls in Houston.

So when Hunter says that Obama tries to hide things about his past, I think Hunter has a valid base on which to express some distress regarding Obama's veracity.

Hehe. It's good to see that the fine art of propaganda is alive and well in 2008! The first video was just a campaign ad with no facts in it whatsoever. When dealing with complex issues, you can't just be for it or against it, irrespective of the context. All they've done is remove the context from his positions on various issues throughout his career. It's pretty easy to make anyone seem foolish if you do that.

As for the second video, it seems to me that the whole lawsuit is just a transparent attempt to smear Obama's name. I always get suspicious when someone puts up too many arguments when one should be enough. I mean which is it… he was born in Kenya, or he was born is Hawaii and gave up his citizenship when he lived in Indonesia? Again, it's an old propaganda trick – come up with a whole bunch of purely speculative theories and try to convince your audience that they add up to a single fact. I mean he put a copy of his birth certificate on his website and it has been authenticated by factcheck.org. Why isn't that enough? What's the bet as soon as the election is over this lawsuit disappears overnight.

Man, you guys should stop reading overly biased blogs and stick to peer-edited sites, like Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama
And please don't complain that it's not reliable. If you come across a fact where you have evidence to the contrary then feel free to make an amendment.

Snopes is a good one for debunking campaign rumors as well.

Thanks BK. The quality is great. For those interested in fixing the audio sync problem, you can do it with AsfBin Master http://www1.topdownloads.net/software/view.php?id=99191 (windows).

It resyncs the file without re-encoding so there's no loss in quality and it only takes a couple of minutes.

It's not that intuitive so here are the steps you have to go through:
1. Click on "File" -> "Add Video Files…" and select the original wmv file
2. Click on the blue arrow below the "Playlist" window to add the file to the "Included Segments" window
3. Click on "Edit" -> "Options". Then under "Audio", select "Delay" and enter the desired audio delay (750 seemed about right for this file)
4. Click on "File" -> "Produce Movie" and choose the name of the new wmv file

And that should be it!

Neither Senator McCain not Senator Obama appeal to me. However, Senator McCain is clearly the lesser of two poor choices. I have no love for President Bush but I do feel that overall we are better off with him than we would have been with former Senator Al Gore or Senator John Kerry as President.

I don't think the Iraq war would have happened if Senator Al Gore had been elected, so I think it's hard to say that. Sure, there would possibly be one more dictator in the world than there is now, but over a million people wouldn't have needlessly died.

Senator Obama has spent his entire career hiding who he is. And, this is despite writing two, count them, two autobiographies. We basically have only his word for who he is. Senator Obama has very carefully left a microscopically small objective paper trail.

What is your evidence for this, or is this just what gets said when you can't find any dirt on someone?

It is that reality more than almost any other that leads me to distrust any candidate that is so obviously supported by the entrenched national media. They have already proven their willingness, if not eagerness, to overlook or cover-up Senator Obama's obvious flaws, short-comings and, most importantly, misdeeds. The same media is also busily covering-up for his fellow Democrats (Senators Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, etc. and Representatives Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, etc.) regarding their key roles in creating the current financial mess.

Man, whatever happened to "the buck stops here!"? America's financial crisis may not totally be the current government's fault, but it is still responsible for it, since the management of the economy is one of the government's key roles.

Imagine if former President Richard Nixon had been elected with similar media support. We would never have heard of "Watergate". If Monica Lewinsky had not kept that blue dress, she would have been dismissed or destroyed like the scores of other women who were former President Clinton's aerobic partners.

Just once, Americans should vote against every single incumbent at every level.

I've never understood the whole "liberal media" label. Media companies are money making corporations like any other, and the only agenda they have is to make as much profit as possible. If they do favor one candidate over another, surely it's because it's what they think will "sell" the best.

Regarding the idea that Americans fear anything that is controlled or funded by the government; it is because Americans have never experienced anything that has been government-controlled that actually works well! Many of us have either lived in or have friends or relatives in socialist countries. (I had to wait over six months to have a telephone approved and installed in my house in Germany.)

Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of the average American more than the idea of legions of unaccountable, impossible to fire (a.k.a., sack), face-less, name-less bureaucrats having even more control over their lives. Do you really want someone like the clerk whom you last saw at the DMV or the last TSA inspector who had you remove your shoes at the airport deciding your healthcare or how you get to work or where your child can go to school and what that child will learn or even how many children you may have?

Isn't the idea of the faceless, nameless bureaucrat rather outdated? There's no reason a government organization can't be run exactly the same as a corporation. I, personally, have worked in both the private and public sector during my career and can't say that I ever noticed the difference.

You didn't offend me, alex – I just suggested that you weren't very diplomatic. You make a very valid point about times changing. I suspect that guys like AlexG and Lingster are of a generation slightly before my own who can remember those days and who still fear their resurgence. As you say, in most countries (excepting those such as North Korea) the popularity of Marxist/extreme Socialist politics has crashed through the floor. This means that younger voters, who seem to be supporting Obama, are not worried about the US becoming a Communist state.

…and Lingster and AlexG are diplomatic when they share their political views!?!?

It seems that a lot of people think that capitalism and socialism are mutually exclusive, and you either believe in one approach or the other, no matter what. I believe you need both to move a country forward, which is why most democracies tend to flip-flop between conservative and liberal governments. If Obama totally neglects all other areas in favor of socialism, the effects will be felt and he will no doubt be voted out in 4 years. At least we can all agree that democracy is a good thing.
