ParticipantSorry for the late reply, but lots to do, etc.
First off, I have to say, that model is looking pretty damn awesome! I've always wanted to see a photo-realistic, CGI model of a super-huge muscle-chick, and you're well on the way to making that happen.
I agree with most of what people have said already. That dent in the middle of the pecs looks a bit weird, but maybe you mean it be the product of her extreme conditioning. I also think you need to put work on modelling the bones and make them stand out from the muscles more. I also think there is too much gap in between the muscle groups, or at least its the wrong shape. It just looks overly sculpted when you see a highlight coming off the space between the groups.
In order to bting out deep enough striations you need to raise the thickness of the displacement, and as far as i know displacement is not considered while simulating cloth so the skin will poke thru clothes…
Why don't you make the displacement map negative only? ie if you simply carve the striations into the mesh, I can't see how that cause anything to poke out of the clothes. At any rate, you shouldn't run into too much trouble if you're only rigging the low-poly mesh anyway.
Oh and CGMann, thanks for the tip about SyFlex. I still think that modeling the actual muscles is the best way to add realistic movement to a muscular model.

ParticipantThanks for reminding me! I totally forgot about Adult Swim. I know several of the people that produce the shows. I'll see what happens.
Man, you've got to give us some warning before dropping bombshells like that! Us muscle-chick fans have been crying out for something like that for years!

ParticipantThat's a coincidence, I just bought the whole set of the Good Guys off of milehighcomics.com. I wish all comics were this good!

ParticipantVideos? Awesome to hear! I've been badgering a few of the regular artists on here for videos of them working for a while now.
Those sketches look great. I'm glad you're not adding extra muscular definition at the expense of the curves you always draw so well.
Hanging out for that update. Can't wait!

ParticipantWelcome to Amaz0ns, Greg!
Those older pics sure bring back some good memories. I can understand you thinking they are primitive given that that they are so old, but they sure would be good for animating…. hint, hint! 😉
Can't wait for the full-blown comic, but hope you keep the how-tos coming on gregboone.com, as they've been very instructive for me, a wanna-be animator.

ParticipantWow, another stunning drawing. Thank you very much.
By the way, have you ever thought about filming yourself creating one of your drawings. It seems like your quite quick and it would be great to see how one of your works comes together.

ParticipantThat reminds me… at the end of the Neo Queendom book, there are these great reference pictures of muscular manga style women showing the names of all the muscles (in Japanese of course). There is a watermark on these pages that says something like "Lovers of Muscular Daughters". Does anyone know who these guys are and what else they've done?

ParticipantThis seems to have disappeared from Melonbooks already!
elee0228, do you know if there is anyway to buy works from Wi-Z Garage directly?

ParticipantWow, fantastic piece! Thank you for commissioning it and sharing it with us.
So I guess the next thing for you to do is commission an Akiko Daimon OVA, right?
