ParticipantWow, these morphs are fantastic!
I agree that Willow would be cool, but also think that Tara would be an interesting subject as well.
I would also love to see Lena Headey with a physique that befits her character on the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

ParticipantI ended up voting for the boob one, as I prefer it when there's at least a hint of breast there. To be honest, I would like to see more of a blend of the two. A solid mass, shredded at the top, but rounded at the bottom. I think the way you did them for your Ultimate Vanessa model is about as good as it gets. Having said that, I love variety as well, so if you want to have a few chicks with massive, bulging pecs on your site, I'm all for that as well.

ParticipantJust amazing, Tigersan. If we are getting all this free, the mind boggles at just how good the membership site will be.
By the way, it was good seeing all of your old characters again. They've never looked better!

ParticipantI saw some of the contenders in the Daily Record Yesterday (Saturday) and one pic had a nicely muscled women in the forefront.
It seems like they get a lot of female bodybuilders turning up to the auditions, but none of them ever seem to get through. I really wish they would tape the auditions and make them part of the show, something like "So You Think Can Dance?" Anyway, apparently ITV are kicking themselves at not picking up the Gladiators reboot license now that it is a hit, and are getting Simon Cowell to do a similarly themed show, ie a rip-off. Maybe he'll make a feature out of the more memorable auditioners who don't make it through.
Anyway, they're apparently going to announce your gladiators this month. I'll have my fingers crossed for you guys.

ParticipantHow are slim endurance athletes like Ironman competitors supposed to cope with events requiring strength and explosive power? They'll tend to have slow-twitch musce fibres, whereas Gladiatorial stuff will require fast-twitch. It's like entering a Hummer at the Indy 500 or Bathurst!
Yeah, couldn't agree more, and I liked the Bathurst reference.
To be honest, I think they've done a good job with the guys. Good variety of physiques, and personalities and that guy in the middle is an absolute monster.I just wished they had shown the same variety with the chicks, instead of them all looking like blonde, barbie dolls.

ParticipantWow. American Gladiators returns, now UK Gladiators is? My gawd its a revolution!!! O . O
You're not wrong! The Aussie version has already been taped and is set to air in the next few weeks. We've been totally screwed though as they're doesn't appear to be a single bodybuilder amongst the female gladiators. It seems that they've gone more for mainstream sports stars like female pole-vaulter Tatiana Grigorieva and Ironwoman Haley Bateup. It's a pity they didn't give us a token super-huge babe like Hellga in the American version.

Wow, I sure hope the UK bucks the trend and picks her. She is smokin' hot!

ParticipantAwesome pic, although I personally prefer it when the woman is much bigger than the man as it makes her development seem all the more impressive.

Participanttrue. and the only good reason. i like the look. i'm thankful that there are those ladies and that they have their sites and their life. i hope they continue what they are doing for a long time to come. in some ways they are an elite, and i'm aware of the fact that my so called deepest secret wishes of someday meeting one will not come true and i'm pretty sure that the ladies do not think very high of us artists or fanboys or whatever you want to call us, because it is easier for them to think of us in such a way, (we, at least i, regard them as sexobjects, which is not a very pleasing thought for them, i guess. ) so i try not to go deeper because that would not be satisfactory for either side and would only lead to mischief.
thank you ladies for the inspiration you are to me.

t.I think the days of female bodybuilders exclusively dating male bodybuilders are well and truly over, so you may one day get your wish. Don't forget that they are into the look as well, albeit from a different perspective, so at least you have that in common.
I'm not sure if all them look down on us fanboys, either. I mean a lot of us have a great deal of respect for the combination of genetics and dedication it takes to achieve that look. I think it's that unique mixture of sexual attraction and awe that makes them so appealing and it's hardly a reason to look down on us.
Oh and to get back on topic, if I had to be completely honest, I would have to say that the reason I draw muscular females is that's what I fantasize about, and I just draw what I see in my head.

ParticipantThat's your first low-poly model?!? That's nuts!
I had a crack at something like this for the original Unreal Tournament. Problem was that, back then, the polygon limit was more like a 1000, so it wasn't very detailed, and there was certainly no support for displacement maps either.
I like how you made the polygon groups match the muscle groups. Should shade and animate nicely.
Is the idea to eventually mesh-smooth it so you've got own high-res muscular female model for Maya? Hope you've got room in your pipeline for Z-brush somewhere, to help with the detailing, although you've made some killer displacement maps in the past without it.
