I love your unique coloring style. Has a sort of flowing, liquid feel to it. Hope you continue to experiment.

Say, have you ever posted a full size version of the picture that used to be your Avatar? I don't think I was able to find it here or at your Yahoo group.

Thanks for the New Year gift. Happy New Year to you as well.

All joking aside, I think that dynamic (or something very much like it) is exactly what's at work. How many people don't know the stereotypical scenario of the little kid who doesn't want to drag his little sister around with him for that reason, that she can't keep up?  And what are kids but a reflection of adults' more primal selves? Men want women who can keep up with them — some of us want women we're challenged to keep up with. No big mystery involved.

This is a good theory; I don't think I've quite thought of it that way before.

I've often thought about it in terms of genes. I read somewhere that the type of person we are attracted to is a blend of ourselves and the opposite. I guess that's so we choose someone with complementary genes, so that their genetic strengths will make up for our genetic weaknesses and vice versa. For whatever reason, our genes have decided that to have intelligent, strong and healthy offspring, we need to mate with an ultra-strong female.

Of course we want to see! It seems like so talented many artists are giving up drawing muscular women recently, so it's good to that someone new is giving it a try.

I've collected quite a few anatomy books over the years, but the one I keep coming back to is "Anatomy – A Complete Guide for Artists" by Joseph Sheppard. It has these really useful schematic pictures which show the muscles being progressively added to the underlying skeletal structure, for both different angles and different muscles being flexed. They really help you to visualize how the muscles fit together and how they interact to move the limbs of the body. Also, the artist uses quite muscular models for both the women and the men.

I also recently discovered the pay sites http://www.3d.sk and http://www.female-anatomy-for-artist.com. One of the models they use is a female bodybuilder, and the reference pictures are from every angle and not just the typical bodybuilder poses.

    Good luck with your endeavor.

Absolutely superb work. The character is hot and the backgrounds very detailed. Very well done!

I am so glad you persisted with your quest to find the perfect picture of Princess Leia. The end result is amazing  😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 It's good to see her with a body to match her strong will.

As an aside, I did record the HDTV version of ROTJ over the weekend, but all of the shots were either too far away or too close up. Nothing as suitable as the pose you chose, anyway.

Love this picture and I love that you're always working in different media. I had almost forgotten how good a colored pencil drawing could look.

I match the fbb bodyparts to the color of the original scarlett johansson pic. It's not scarlett that I modify…

I actually did mean to say body to face, so I guess that's probably it then.

That's a great pic. I really love that you're drawing your girls super huge now!

It's possible it's just a side-effect of whatever technique you use for color-matching the face to the body. Perhaps losing some of the hue variation makes the skin tone look more perfect than the original photo. Anyway, I'm just being my usual over-analytical self. Just keep doing whatever it is that you're doing as your morphs are amongst the best I've seen.
