I didn't want to draw undue attention to myself, so I kept it low key. This story has been bumping around in my brain for a while, and I know I'm supposed to be working on the Slave Girls epic, but I just couldn't resist this Feminox update. Especially with my feeble but fun attempt at a name pun (I've been thinking about that one for more than ten years! Finally worked it into a story!)

Thanks for the bump (and the bump on my head) – I haven't finished the story yet and still do intend to do so. So many slave girls, so many possibilities for GROWTH!! I was just reminding myself last night that I've got to get back into the writing mode and get this one done.

The Necklace? I wrote a second story that completed the initial arc, but to tell the truth, I always wanted to write a few more episodes with some other women from around the world. Maybe after I retire I'll find the time.

Salve Girls??

Did I really type 'Salve Girls'??

I guess I was just too excited to double check everything. I mean it's been quite a while since I posted a story.

Good suggestions, Cowprobe, but I was going for more of a 'piratical' theme. I'll try to link the stories. I'm not sure how successful I'll be, but I give it a try.

When I posted the Ultimate Black Cat story, I used a different post for each part. But then I see some authors keep making the original post longer and ponger. Is it hard to keep track of it like that?

Thanks for remembering me! No I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth. I still look in once in a while and still do a little bit of writing.

By the way, I've come out of the closet – in a manner of speaking – and admitted that all of those stories that were written under the name Mac or any of the Power Company stories were done by just me (as if that might not have been obvious by looking at the writing style). It's a long story as to why I started using different names, but now I'm trying to set the record straight.

Woderful art and nice background story. But what really touches my old heart is that someone still remembers Mary Ende, Librairan (but I gotta say that 7'3" seems a bit tall…)

Remember though that all the three young heroes are still in high school (this is supposed to take place in the Ultimate Universe – with a few alterations – okay maybe it's my own Ultimate Universe…) and still have a lot of growing up to do. The story ends suggesting they are in a reclining position, whether that's a bed or a futon or a couch, I left that up to the reader's imagination. And whether they are clothed or not is also up to the reader's imaginings. In my own mind I see three extremely strong and healthy young people who are sharing an intimate moment together, collapsing after an arduous night of exciting changes and challenges, and allowing their budding friendhips and the friendship they already have estblished to grow as well in the light of those changes. (How's that for a lot of psychobabble?)

It actually harkens back to a night I spent with two lovely young ladies in a shared bed … but that's a story for another time.

Cowprobe, funny you should mention that. I was thinking along the lines of havein Doc Samson help Gloria to recover her memories and then the two could join forces (and maybe in other ways as well!) to fight the Kingpin and various other 'evil doers' but I ran out of time and wanted to get the story posted.
