By the way, do you commission "paper" art, or do you get "digital" art via E-mail?

Used to be paper art mostly, with the artist sending scans befor mailing the physical copies.

Nowadays been commissiong from a lot more artists that do the coloring digitially, so never get a physical copy.

Jean Sinclair, I get the physical copy eventually.  But given the shipping times from Brazil to the United States, and wanting to mail one big package, rather than a dozen little ones, sometimes I have the scans *months* before I see the physical copy.  🙂

Good acticon and i like your line work.

Important to note, I'm not the artist, just the guy who paid the artist.

(I'd never want to take credit for someone else's work.  And I'm a writer, not a penciler)

Jean's line work is excellent, and yep, these are great action pieces.

I encourage everyone to check out Jean's DA page:

Thanks for the kind words, ZeFly and AlexG.  Glad you both liked the pics.

Yeah, Olga still needs to breathe.  She can hold her breath for hours due to her impressive Mega-Stamina (insert joke here about "what a set of lungs on her" and having strong chest muscles).  But, with Malloy pulling the oxygen out of her lungs and bloodstream alike, it gets painful.  Still, that much volume is an effort for Duke Malloy, and Olga hasn't dropped yet….  (the two are very evenly matched.  Olga vs Duke Malloy has been a tie on 3 seperate occassions)

    Sometimes, Jean works fast.

The fifth and final piece in the "Olga Versus" series.
Duke Malloy is ruler of his own outlaw island nation.  And master of the Classical Elemnts.
Olga getting hit with storms of Air, Earth, Fire and Water all at once here. Good thing she's as tough as she is.

Glad you liked them, Masschine and Ze Fly.

Yeah, Rob did another great job. He's a wonderful commission artist.  I reccomend him highly.

And the posters have promoted my arcs a little. I'm not over-the-top popular in City of Heroes, but these have gotten me some exposure.

Ahh. I dont mean like Marvel or DC people.

    But like others OC's. XD

    I get you there.

The general point is still true, however, that a picture showing both Olga and a character who wasn't "from her world" would seem a little "off mission statement" to me and the players in my RPG game.

Out of curiousity, what other OC's do you think would look good in a pic with Olga?

Hmm… maybe some crossover pictures Shag?

Olga fighting villains belonging to other people? XD

Hm.  Well, that's something I'm not too likely to commission myself.
Olga exists in a pretty specific universe, which my friends have been playing in for a couple of years.

And commissioning artowrk of Olga does a double-duty of getting me pretty pictures, but also adding to and enhancing the role-playing game experience.

Of courss, I wouldn't object to artists drawing Olga stepping on Dr. Doom. Or Olga hanging out with Power Girl, comparing bra sizes.  However, not something I'm inclined to initiate myself.

A while back, Kmac / Thinkbolt did a 24 hour comic exercise, and he drew a 24 page story of Olga taking a vacation in NYC, and running into various Marvel characters.  It was pretty amusing.  His version of Olga acted a little differently from the "official" personality, but it was a darn good creative effort.

Panther's site @ geocities is still up, but hasn't been updated in yrs.  After he managed to have one of his stories published by E.L. Publications, he disappeared from the community.

I conversed with Hi-Standard about a month ago, he's been busy at work on other real world things for several yrs, but commented in passing he might take a stab at writing again, having lain off from it for far too long.

    Thanks for the info Alex.
I found Panther's Geocities site again thanks to you.  Reading through it was a combination of a trip down memory lane and finding some stuff I had missed first time around. Very nice.
