    Ahh, my hero. Thank you. I have been watching some of these cartoons and the art seems very effective and much easier …lol. Trying to create a realistic figure in photoshop is work! A single flesh tone and a shadow would save so much time. I really thought it would look like hell but these anime creations look good. Now I can sound like I know what I am talking about too. Cel shading, sounds so much better than "two color shading thingy that they do in anime"…lol. Thanks for lighting my path…again. 😉

    Thanks Ze fly. The board doesn't seem as talkative as it used to be. I think I am going to try copying a few different artists styles for a little while and see if it helps me pick up coloring. i have been looking at alot of anime stuff and they use a very basic 2 color shading that seems very effective. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,hopefully I will have another finished by this coming week. I have so much to learn ,coloring is a blast though.

    Thanks guys. The thing I love about this board is its members educated eyes. You guys pick off everything! Yup the I beam is a little funky but it was one of my first drawings and I promised my friend I would color it for him. I had paid someone to color it originally and it was a little disappointing. As for you baditude41, you get your just desserts tomorrow… and you better like veins…lol. ; )

    Hello everyone. Its been a while but I have kept you in my heart. Here is my third coloring attempt in my Photoshop learning quest. I will hopefully have time this winter to indulge my hobby and post again.

    Thanks for the support all. I was very nervous doing color for the first time. It turned out to be fun though. Thanks again Jed for the wonderful tutorial .I have a long way to go but this road is a fun one to travel!
