Sadly, whether we like it or not, the extreme physiques and side-effects of gear use is what drove TV and any semblance of mass-market support away from FBBing. As I see it, there’s a choice. EWither go back to the level of the late-1980s and take the TV coverage, sponsorship and increased revenues to boost prize money and profitability, or treat it as an underground thing that, due to it beng pretty “extreme”, is only going to draw a minority audience.
