There have always been tvo contrasting types of FBBs.

The first one is the young hopeful talent who steps on the scene with the promise of becoming “the next big thing” and “saving the sport from a slow death”. Only to become burned out after a couple of competitions and vabishing without any other trace than a mention in a few “Where are they now?” threads.

The second type is the old warhorse who somehow never gets burned out, and just keeps on competing year after year. The “staying power” of FBBs like Betty Pariso, Yaxeni Oriquen or Dayana Cadeau is making it almost impossible for the young hopefuls to place well in major competitions. Plus, being a competitive bodybuilder seems to be a fundamentally unhealthy lifestyle.

So, the muscular women will comtinue to satisfy their exhibitionist streak by mecoming internet “schmoelebrities” without even considering the competition circuit.
